      Nice little boat... I purchased this boat to fish with on the many lakes and rivers in this area. The boat is exactly as advertised and I feel it is a good value for the money. It really does pack up to fit in the included backpack and although it is pretty heavy, the pack is comfortable and has some extra room for packing fishing tackle or a change of clothes.Setting up the boat takes a little practice but once you figure it out you can go from pack to boat in about 10 minutes. I recommend buying a 12V air pump because it takes a long time to inflate and deflate if you are reliant on the foot pump alone.The metal frame feels sturdy even though I weigh over 200lbs. The cargo area is not very big but there is enough room for a life jacket and some fishing tackle to be bungee'd back there. If it is a windy day you will get pushed around on the water but it isn't much worse than a canoe in that regard.Overall I would recommend this boat for the price. There are much nicer inflatable pontoons out there but none that offer the convenience of the backpack for transport and most of the high quality boats cost $800+. Using the site-to-store function I was able to get free shipping and I felt confident because Wal-Mart has a great return policy if the boat didn't work the way I wanted. So far, so good though.A few tips I've got for using this boat-• assemble it once or twice in your living room before taking it to the water, it isn't hard to set up but a couple practice builds will make things go a lot smoother when you are ready to get on the water.• grease the frame where the metal parts come together. The fitment of the parts is a little snug and the grease makes putting it together and getting it apart a lot smoother.• a drift sock is great if you plan to use this boat for lake fishing.• the rubber stops that hole the oras in one place slide around a bit. I just wrapped some electrical tape around the shaft of the oars and that fixed the problem. 04/13/2008

      Caution Big Time I have had now owned 2 of these. The first one broke the first time I tried to use it. Took it back to Wal Mart they replaced.Second one lasted about 2 years, using it maybe 15 times a year, til today. Fishing a lake with maybe a 2 MPH current. Started rowing toward shore and noticed I could not control boat. Got boat to opposite shore from where I needed to be. Examined boat and found two broken welds. I weigh about 215 lbs. Boat I believe is rated for 280.Had to hike out about 2 miles in the dark to get to a road. Have to go back this week and hope no one has stolen the boat. Major inconveinence. 02/01/2010
      Almost Great I love this craft. It is easy to assemble, easy to disassemble and packs away into the backpack like a dream. It handles well with the oars and provides a stable platform for fishing the small rivers and lakes where I live. I have plans to modify it so I can add a trolling motor. The frame of the craft lends itself well to the modification required. The only drawback is that I have not yet figured out how to board the boat without getting my feet wet. 09/05/2008
