    Aroma Smart Fry XL Dual Basket Deep Fryer 4.6 5 66 90
    Fryer has a large capacity of 5qts and gets the big jobs done. The maximun temperature is 375 degrees which limits the capactiy somewhat since the fry temperature drops 100 degress when food is put in. The power cord attaches with a magnet, is only 15 inches long, and comes off at the slightest touch thus shutting off the machine. Still it does the big jobs better than the smaller 2-3 quart fryers. 10/18/2009
    Handy This product isn't too bulky, looks great in any kitchen and is very useful. The 3 frying baskets are a great addition for the price. Only problem is the timer can be a little of a pain, or it might just be me. Takes just a gallon of oil and has great safety features. 08/21/2009
    There have been some negative comments about this fryer that I would like to address:1. Short cord: the old 15" cord has been replaced with a 30" cord.2. Weak magent: there is now a stronger magnet that attaches the cord to the heating unit.3. Strong frying odor when frying: there will always be frying odor when frying in the kitchen. That's why I fry outdoors.4. 100 degree drop when adding food: my AROMA unit only dropped 20 degrees and took only minutes to get back to 350.I know it looks like I work for AROMA but I am a retired civil servant who loves to cook and loves this AROMA fryer. It takes about 18-20 minutes to go from 0 to 350 degrees. It takes about 4 hours for the hot oil to cool down to ambient temperature when finished frying. It is easy to clean--you just can't immerse the control unit in water. Everything else can be cleaned in the dishwasher.The only negative is that I am eating a lot more fried food than is good for me. 09/03/2010
    Great Buy!! This is the best kitchen tool I have purchased in a long time! I'm not the best cook, so this is great for my frying needs because it is fool proof. With the timer and digital temperature controls, plus the handy chart that comes in the manual to guide you for the different setting needed to use for different foods, everything comes out very nice. My family all devoured my fried chicken! It's so easy that I'm tempted to use it everyday, but of course my family can't be eating fried foods all the time :). 11/17/2009
