Aroma 14-Cup Rice Cooker and Food Steamer 14 23
Best small appliance ever! Im a college student without a kitchen and after looking around trying to find a way to make my own food that I wouldnt have to nuke in a microwave, I discovered rice cookers. I haven't actually just made rice in this one, but instead have been using it as a pot for one-pot cooking (rice and curry, chicken curry/masala, stir-fry, soup, etc). I haven't used the steamer option yet so I can't speak to that, but it seems pretty straightforward. Cleanup is also easy: I handwash after each use.Note:1. it only comes with a flat plastic "spoon" so you may have to invest in a teflon spoon depending on what you want to make (sauces, etc)2. doesn't come with a recipe book like some other ones i looked at. (Not an issue though, because there are so many free ones online anyway)3. food gets VERY hot, so you may have to wait a bi to avoid burning yourself. 12/05/2009
disappointed The description of this rice cooker on the website is confusion. The description is 14-cups, but the model of this cooker is 7-cups in fact. When I got the cooker, I find that the fringe of inner part is 0.5 cm high than the outer part, they can’t contact. This is the first time I know a rice cooker like this. The fainted thing is that the only button was broken yesterday; I have bought it only for 2 weeks. It’s awful. 11/04/2010

Crudely made product This product appears as if it wasn't yet finished, withno inside finish and inner, exposed screws whichprotrude inside the handle of the steamer pan. Andfoods stick even tho the description says it is non-stick. I knew they would as soon as I saw the innersurface. 12/14/2010
