Well I have bought every kind of fryer you could think of sadly they all seem to stop getting hot after a few mo. of using them. Well have no fear the AROMA is the best fryer i've ever bought. It got hot and stayed hot while I was using it. My husband liked it so much he wants me to buy another one for our house boat! I just might get one for everyone this Christmas! 09/30/2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by dawg3 i like the ease of cleaning also easy to change cooking oiltakes a long time to heat up but fries fine after it is up to temperaturei hate the magnetic plug i don,t know why we are going to this type on all appliancesthey were out of fry daddys which has a good cord and plug on it so i bought this one and should have waited.would be a great unit if cord was replaced with a good one (non magnetic) 01/09/2012
