not bad i ordered this product for thanksgiving, lookwise it appears great, but the quantity of rice cooked in this doesnt match. it says we can cook upto 6 cups of rice, i cooked only 3 cups, but it looked as if the cooked rice was already overflowing, i had to take out the rice very carefully, i wonder how it would be if i cook 6 cups of rice in it!!!!! the water i added is according to their guidelines, but i doubt if we can really cook 6 cups in it!!!! 11/29/2010
worth the price. So far this rice cooker has been performing well. We have used it about 12 times in 4 weeks. The first week it was browning the rice when we tried cooking only 1 cup of rice at a time. Their instruction book doesn't show anything less then 2 cups of rice so we tried that with much better results. The non stick coating in the pot does look like it would scratch easily, I would not recommend using any metal utensils with it. It's appearance allows us to keep it on the counter top instead of stored in a cupboard. We have not tried to steam anything yet. It is worth the price, just don't cook less then 2 cups of rice at a time. 01/19/2012
