Alternative to attaching to window or air vent Item purchased to repurpose for using with a different brand of GPS device. My other bracket (different brand) was broken due to misuse. I cobbed its remaining device holder to the Arkon bracket assembly so I could hang my GPS from my passenger visor (I have a small car). Arkon provided a nice selection of adapters I could pick from.I have had bad luck with suction cup GPS holders; they come loose at the worst times (making a turn). I do not want to jam a bracket assembly into my car's vent fins and risk breaking the vent fins. 03/02/2012
