i wouldn't. it's a very thick, gel like product - i would expect it to make my eyelids very puffy

I do, my dermatologist recommended it.  I get rashes/irriation around my eyes from allergies and I use a very tiny amount.  It&#39;s very soothing, stops the itching and helps with healing.  I only use it at night or if I&#39;m not wearing make up at the time.

It specifically says to keep out of eyes, so I wouldn&#39;t.

Been using it a year + around my eyes on lids in outside corners  so my skin doesn&#39;t dry out. Was suggested by my Eye Dr.  I apply it with a tip of a Cue Tip  , I cut them in half and use one half for both eyes,,  just need a lil dab on it less than a BB in size spreads easily.  if you feel too much on your eyes, I take two connected sheets of toilet paper   close my eyes and place gently both sheets over both eyes  covering the area where the skin ointment is and press gently to take off any excess.

Can you use it around the eyes or on eyelids?

My sister used aquaphor ointment many years ago after getting burns from cobalt radiation therapy.This worked very well for her, and the burns did not leave any scars after using this ointment.

On this very web site, the manufacturer says "Multi-purpose ointment helps heal raw, irritated skin caused by radiation treatments, facial resurfacing procedures and eczema"

Can't say enough about this product. I wished I would have tried it sooner.   I have suffered for many  years with chapped lips and have tried so many different products in the market from inexpensive to 30 dollar items such as chapped stick, lip scrubs, lip mask, lip oils  they seemed to help for a day or two. The Aquaphore ointment has been a game changer. I never tried it in the past because I thought it would have a taste given that I wanted to put it on my lips but it doesn't and it glides on so smooth a little goes a long way. Since I purchased item It's my go to and I can confidently say I will not be purchasing any more products for chapped lips moving forward.  This is only product that has working consistently and effectively for me. I recommend this product if you haven't tried it. Wish I would have bought it sooner.

Used as directed on incision site after skin cancer surgery. Worked well and easy to avoid contamination… applied with cotton swab, easy to get small amounted needed due to tube flip top design.

I am giving another 5 star review of the 4 items that I have received ie; Aquaphor, and Lubriderm fragrance free for sensitive skin. I have not received my three ice packs. It was recommended to me to buy this from a tattoo artist after getting a tattoo. It is a petroleum jelly consistency. I've been putting it on my crows feet around my eyes at night as well.

I like it

Recommended for skin and nails by my dermatologist and podiatrist. Additional ingredients make it more effective and conditioning than plain petroleum jelly.

this is the best moisturizer for dry skin. its the only thing i can use for my current dry skin condition, any other moisturizer burns due to the extra ingredients. also can be used for after tattoo care. very multi purpose. it does leave a bit of greasy film, but it absorbs eventually, you're not going to find a better healing ointment than this.

The only thing I don't care for is that it is a vaseline based product so it can get on your clothes or sheets. Not a big deal if you cover your skin with something or work it in to your skin well.

I use this for many purposes: lips, hands, elbows, heals, and affrt a decent small derno surgery, I used it to protect my stitches/wound before they came out on their own (doc recommended).

The Best!

My doctor suggested auquaphor ointment and colloidal bandages for treatment of skin tears (possible early compression or bed sores). It worked beautifully. The sores were open, running and painful. Within 2 days the sores were closing and new skin developing. After 4 days the areas were completely covered with new skin.

HOW does this have all these 5 stars??? This is like rubbing straight petroleum jelly on your skin, then trying to put clothes on. Leaves a greasy layer on top, getting all over your clothes! Never, EVER absorbs in! AWFUL STUFF!
