The Ant Farm Gel Colony uses a nutrient-rich gel, providing ants with a continuous source of food and moisture. Includes a coupon to receive live ants by mail (postage required; some restrictions apply).

    Ants are not included with the product. You will receive a coupon for ordering the ants. There are three ways to order: Mail in the coupon that is included; order online at www.unclemilton.com or phone the toll-free number 1-(888)-742-2484 (within the US).

    Please allow two to six weeks for delivery, weather permitting. Delivery may be delayed due to extreme heat or cold.     Would not buy again! It took our ants 5 weeks to arrive- every day my 7 yr old went to the mailbox hoping for the ants to be in there- then when they did arrive, 90% of them were already dead- there are a few alive and they have tunneled a little, but all of the dead ones are in there, too. Which is kind of gross. You can't take them out though, b/c the others could escape. It's very disappointing- I would recommend not buying this! 10/26/2009
    Awesome Farm! I got this for my son's 8th birthday. The ants came within 2 weeks of ordering, but I live in a warm climate and ordered in late March. My son loves watching the ants climb around and dig through the gel. I like that its all enclosed, no feeding required, and made of durable plastic. Overall, a great product for beginers and those who aren't sure about having live creatures like ants in the house. 04/04/2009
    BUYER BEWARE My daughter got this as a gift for her birthday in MAY. We finally received the ants in SEPTEMBER!! This product was purchased from our local Walmart. It shouldn't have been sold in South Texas. The temperature had to be approximately 78 degrees for more than a week for the ants to ship. Last year, it was 80 degrees on Christmas day. Half the ants were dead before we got them and the other half were dead within a week. You shouldn't buy this if you live in a warm environment or you may never get the ants. 11/14/2009
    Not what it seems I purchased this for my son and he was excited about getting it. It looks really cool, but looks can be decieving. All of the ants that we put in this thing died within a day or two. How exciting is that? 04/29/2009
