The Angelcare Movement Sensor with Sound Monitor gives you everything you need for peace of mind when you are away from the nursery. This Angelcare Deluxe Monitor helps make your job as a parent a little easier. With advanced features, this baby movement monitor can monitor both movement and sound. A sensor pad with adjustable sensitivity slides under the baby's mattress to detect movement, and if there is no movement, the Anglecare Movement Sensor with Sound Monitor sounds an alarm after 20 seconds. An optional ''tic'' sound lets you hear baby's movements and the Angelcare Deluxe Monitor offers eight channels to choose from to minimize interference. The Angelcare Movement Sensor with Sound Monitor comes with two parent handsets, four AAA rechargeable batteries, and a changing station.

I use a breathable bumper, my daughter didn't get a blanket until she was 6 months old, and I use the AngelCare-Deluxe Movement Sensor with Sound monitor. But I have slept with more security than I could have ever imagined after the birth of my first child (when she lets me sleep of course).I love that when we travel I can just take the monitors with us and leave the sensor pad in place in her crib. The wire from the sensor pad does not impose a hazard to my child's safety.I am already thinking ahead to when my daughter will transition to her toddler bed. The sensor pad will notify me if she falls out of bed or if she decides to be adventurous and leaves bed for exploration on her own.I don't feel as if I had to settle by not getting a video monitor. As I see it, a sleeping baby looks the same as a baby who is not breathing. The movement sensor can identify the faintest breathing movement from your baby. Yes we have had some false alarms, but that was because my child had herself pinned in the corner of the crib where the sensor pad couldn't detect her. I am happy that I was notified and I positioned her properly in her crib.I love it so much that I recommend this to EVERYONE that is expecting a child! I also purchased this monitor for my best friend as she just gave birth to her first child. And I plan to buy a 2nd one for my next child. 03/09/2011

When the sensor goes off it is doing its job!! Bringing attention to your baby!! Is your baby in distress? Or just wiggled his way off the mat? Either way what peace of mind there is knowing you have this option. We have suggested this product to everyone we know!! It is intended to make sure your child is not in distress. This is one of the best investments that we have done. I have purchased two. One for my daughters home and one for mine! Being an associate I have even pushed for these to be available in all stores. We cannot do enough with our children or grandchildren to ensure that are safe. If your a mommie or a Nana, let me tell you. This purchase is more than necessary, it is peace of mind. This item needs to be put on every Gift registry of any soon to be Mommie!! Think about it......we buy all kinds of cute, funny and just gotta have things for our babies. Why would you not purchase an item that may someday save their life!! Cannot say enough positive comments over this product!! I hope to soon see it carried in every Wal-mart store!! Rated 4 out of 5 by emilylk Love BUT watch your Serta Mattress As a first time mom, who knew someone who lost a baby to sids, this was that best monitor I found that allowed me to have peace of mind and sleep better at night. However, at around 7 months, when my little boy started cruising his crib at night, we were getting at least 2 or 3 false alarms per night even after turning the sensitivity up the whole way and putting a piece of wood between the springs and the pad. So I called Angelcare and they asked all the normal questions, then I was asked if I have a Serta mattress, yes. They told me that they have found that a majority of people who call regarding false alarms have a Serta mattress. SO if you bought a Serta for your crib make sure you get the dual pads, if you already have a monitor you can purchase just the dual pads by calling Angelcare.I love this monitor and I have and will continue to suggest it to everyone I know having a baby. 11/30/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by gaga4baby Angel Care is Great! My son had apnea for a long time so extra protection was important. When he started sleeping alone in his nursery we needed a reliable monitor. Angel Care is perfect. It's sensitive enough to pick up his slight movements while not giving false alarms either. I can hear him clearly without any interference. It was easy to set up and works well. I definately recommend this product to other parents. 05/04/2011
