Break Too Easily I bought these glasses because I love the look and the price is great. But these glasses really do break more easily than any I have ever owned.I don't have a dishwasher so I don't know how they hold up in that way. But I have had several crack or break simply from being knocked over (as opposed to falling onto hard surface from high up) or clanking against another dish in the sink.If you are very careful with your dishes, these might be fine for you. But I think it would be worth paying a little more for a better quality glass. 06/16/2008

Outstanding appearance and price I originally purchased these when we moved into a new home. I was looking for a large set with a particular ounce capacity as well as color and design. The price for the set could not be beat and I too was surprised by the first review of this drinkware. I do have a dishwasher and have never experienced the glasses "melting." Other than the two my family have accidentally dropped, we found these to be very durable glasses. My husband is a strength athlete so he's particular about the weight, size and durability of things. Excellent Glasses! I am surprised by the previous review - I had a set of these glasses for a couple of years and I LOVE them. I think the style is a bit different from the ordinary, they are perfectly sized and weighted, and the color matches my everyday dinnerware to a T. I wash the glasses by hand as I do not have a dishwasher, and so far none have broken despite using them daily. What more can you ask for? 11/12/2007
