Not a good idea. not built for strength and endurance, short term, mostly decorative use.

I think it would hold the aquarium because I can sit on it and I weigh over 200.

Cherry (looked more like pine in the picture though), Black (I bought that one, LOVE it!) and Espresso, looks like a really dark brown in the picture.

What are the other finishes are available? The ad says "multiple" finishes.

If you try to order it on line it gives you the option for one of the three finishes and one of them being Cherry. If it is telling you that it is not available you may have to contact Walmart and I am sure they will be happy to tell you if it is temporarily out of stock of if they no longer offer the table in the Cherry finish. Perhaps they could help locate one at another store around your area. Good Luck!

The American Heritage Hall Table is not currently available in cherry.

Not sure, but it is dark like a walnut. Possibly walnut-stained.

I love this table. I purchased this table for the entryway of our new home. It was as beautiful as the reviews said it was and had the quality and appearance of a much more expensive table. It was well packed so there wasn't a scratch on it. My husband was busy and I was so anxious to see it assembled that I couldn't wait so I put it together myself. All the pieces fit together perfectly. It took me about 30 minutes and that was me taking my time because I am 65 and had back surgery and surgery on both of my shoulders. What helped out a lot was the fact that the top and the drawer were already assembled so all I had to do was assemble the legs and the bottom shelf so that save a lot of time and work. I would highly recommend this table to anyone that needs a small table for a small space.

Beautiful, High Quality Table

This table arrived looking better than I had imagined. It was easy to put together (however, I'm an expert furniture-assembler, so take that for what it's worth). It seems rather sturdy--my 25-lb toddler frequently climbs on the lower shelf and I've seen no sign of stress. I think I'll replace the wooden knob with some more substantial hardware, but for now I'm pleased.

I needed the black table for my very tiny hallway. This one fit perfectly: it's not too deep, and just tall and wide enough for my wall. It's under 30 pounds, so it was light enough to chuck into my car and carry on my shoulder from my car to my place. The instructions were really easy to understand. After taking out all the pieces, and getting a Phillips screwdriver for the bottom shelf's cams, all I had to put together were the legs, shelf and drawer pull. Thank goodness! In about 20 minutes, I had a table ready for my hallway! The bottom shelf is sturdy enough to place my shoes and purses on it as I come in. It looks great and was worth every penny!
