AMACO Countertop Craft/Clay Oven |A countertop oven with 300-degree (F) maximum temperature for baking polymer clays and other craft products. This handy countertop oven is perfect for warming/baking polymer clays or any craft product requiring heat up to 300°F (149°C). It includes a 30-minute timer to prevent over-baking and instruction book. The Polymer Clay &amp; Craft Oven is a much more efficient way to bake polymer clay than the energy used by a home oven! Photo shows oven with Professional Bead Baking Rack and Beads. These items are not included. Internal dimensions are 11" W x 5" H x 7.5" D. with a capacity is 540 cu. in. Operates on standard household current. IMPORTANT: DO NOT put craft items in a cold oven. Always preheat oven. Polymer clay as well as other craft products that require heat, cure best when baked in a properly preheated oven. To preheat, place an oven thermometer inside oven, turn the temperature dial to 265 degrees and the timer dial to 20 MINUTES. When the bell rings the oven should have reached 265 degrees. Check the oven thermometer to verify that the oven is at the correct temperature. When the correct temperature is reached, place your craft project in the oven for baking.

You can use a silicone baking mat, cut to size, on a piece of cardboard; an oven proof glass casserole, turned upside down; a bead rack, I use a small shish kabob grill rack that I got at a dollar store, for beads.

I use an aluminum plate that I purchased with one of my lampwork bead ovens. Any small light colored aluminum pan would work.

i was wondering when i buy this what kind of sheet do i need to bake it on??

I've seen this oven priced $20 higher at many craft stores. Walmart has the best price on this.  Great little oven for the price. Has a timer and a variable temperature range that seems to be pretty accurate.

Super little oven

Its easy and way better then the kitchen oven. Clay cooks even.

A good buy

Purchased item but bottom closure/crumb tray woulnt close. Contacted the Amaco company with my issue and received to reply after several messages. The item also seems to be made with inexpensive components. Returned it and will find another brand.  The Amaco company could care less and that is unfortunate.

Was Excited until I opened the Box

Oven came with what looks like a fist dent on top of oven, bottom tray in the back of the oven is busted and hanging down, did not notice oven was so damaged until I plugged it in to preheat and it started heavily smoking    Product is trash. Do not waste your money.
