Good deal for the price. The bass on these speakers is quite good, however the mids leave something to be desired. Depending on what music you are listening to, you can hear some distortion. Overall, for the cost, a good deal for listening to music at a comfortable level. 11/18/2010
Clear sound! It's worthy for only 61 bucks. Great price. But the bass is too too boomy. At the beginning, I can not used to it. And it will make your hearing system insensitive to bass. But it still a good stuff for listening to music. Besides, it will be a terrible weapon to your neighbor! 12/01/2011
Not a good sounding system. I got the Altec Lansing Octane 7 3pc 2-1 speaker system for my computer. I returned it because the sound was not what I expected. Way to boomy with little to no midrange.It has 3 controls on the right speaker for volume, treble, and bass. With the bass turned all the way down, it still isn't enough to have a pleasant mix, the bass is still to loud and boomy. 10/10/2011
