I bought one for my queen size bed and low profile box spring. I also bought a fitted mattress pad to go over them and it keeps the excess from bunching up under your sheets.

I have been using it for a week and it seems to  work very good..  the seams are  strong and the zipper is closed with velcro.  It works very well.  The corners are made to expand to fit different sizes  without ripping open.  I have tried other products that have ripped  while trying to put them on and this one  is so strong we never had that problem

I made sure I found the label that indicates the side that should be on top and then fed the mattress through. It zips around the mattress on one end. There is definitely room for a thick mattress. As you can see in my pics that I have ample room for my simple mattress. Nothing is getting through this cover!

Its really well made and wasnt hard to put on my new mattress at all! Its good quality and had huge opening so you could put on bed easier! Material was very soft and even plastic side is made well! Zipper seems we made and only issue we had zipping it up was that the excess material inside kept curling and wanting to get in zipper! It did stay puffed up so had to open zipper to let air out! The mattress is thicker so was afraid it may not fit but was pleasantly surprised it was made with room to spare to accommodate thicker mattresses! Really happy with it!

Great Choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] AllerEase Maximum Waterproof Allergy and Bedbug Zippered Mattress Protector is just what I needed. I suffer from bad allergies and was really glad to get this.
It is very easy to put on your mattress. I vacuumed my mattress and box spring first to remove any dust, dander, etc. before putting the mattress protector on.
Then I flipped my mattress on it's side, slid the protector on, zipped it up, and was done! 
It is really soft and can be used without a bottom sheet in my opinion.
I would recommend this to anyone who suffers from allergies, and doesn't want to worry about bedbugs stopping by!
