Pros: It's cheap. Does the job for the money. Cons: I wish it was more form fitting to the shape of the butt stock.

Does what it is supposed to do. I have a home security pistol grip tactical 12 gauge and this product fits nicely on the stock. It is a little hard sliding it over the butt, you have to stretch it out. It does not harm the product with a little stretching. It forms nicely back to original shape. It holds my Law Enforcement 00 Buck plastic rounds perfectly.

    • Holds 12 on mine, didn't try any others. Totally conceals 2 3/4 shells in the holder

    • It holds my 2 3/4" 00 Buck Law Enforcement shells perfectly. For a 3" shell it looks like it might be a snugger fit. Come down to a situation to where you need a faster reload the 2 3/4" slide out easier.

    • I would recommend 12 gauge shells only. I think smaller gauge shells would fall out if you turn them upside down in the sheath like I do. I do that for faster loading.

    • Holds all calibers except for .410 shells. When the shells are fitted into the loops of the holder, the ends of the holder lift up and form a lip on each end of the holder. The elastic that it is made from isn't strong enough to hold it down against the stock. Very uncomfortable and ugly to view. The problem with this one is that there isn't enough base fabric to allow for the loop fabric not to lift the ends of the base fabric. It needs about 1/2 inch more of base fabric on each end. Current design brings the loops all the way to the two edges of the base fabric, thus when shells are inserted, the ends of the base fabric lift up and form raised edges.
