Easy to operate. This was my first RC helicopter, I purchased it to accustom myself to flying one before purchasing an expensive one. For a starter, this machine is perfect. It is easy to operate and maneuver and took me less than 30 minutes of flight time to get the hang of. I have crashed it a few times fairly hard and it does not show many signs of damage, just a few scratches that easily polish off. The battery life is that of many others like it (about 8 minutes flight time), which I understand is average. The only downfall i have seen yet is there is no dedicated control for forward and backward. The RC seems to just move forward as it gains altitude, which is easy to get used to but lacks maneuverability and speed compared to advanced ones. The lack of controls is what knocks off one star, however I would recommend this to anyone for a first RC heli. 02/13/2012
For older kids My son loves how it shoots darts but it is constantly try to move forward so it was a little hard for him to learn to control it. Good buy. 12/29/2011
