Rated 4 out of 5 by horserider0815 Nice Corner Desk for Few Items I purchased this desk for a corner next to my kitchen for my laptop and to pay bills. It is a soft white and a sturdy desk/chair. Granted, the packing is fairly good and you have to build everything. I built the desk and chair on my own in one hour (mid 40's woman). The drawer's track is made of wood as well, and it can be a bit rough to open and close, but still functional. There are small shelves on the lower part of the desk which are good for an accordion file folder and a few books. I did place felt pads under my chair because of my wooden floors. Overall, for the price, this is a great product. It serves its purpose in the corner for my occasional internet search and bill pay. I would recommend to a friend for the same purpose or even for a child to do homework. 05/07/2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by RecipeRebel Pretty but not sturdy. I purchased this desk for my young daughter's bedroom. It is the perfect size and looks great. My husband had one extra bolt let when he had finished assembling the desk. Not all the holes lined up as they should have for assembly. So far, this hasn't caused a problem. The chair has turned out to be a bust. My husband has fixed it twice now and the back continues to fall off. So no matching chair at this house. 01/27/2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by jerseygirl72 This desk is not made well. For the price I expected particle board but the biggest problem was that the holes were not drilled well did not line. It was extremely frustrating to build (and I usually enjoy building these types of things). You can tell just by looking that the holes are do not line up well. One of the screws was defective and there wasn't a single spare screw in the bag. Ironically this worked out since one of the screw holes was so off-center it could not be used.The chair back come broken in two pieces. I did receive a replacement in about two weeks though.I have had better made similarly priced children's / toddler's furniture. I was disappointed with this one. Now that it's assembled it does look as pictured and is very pretty. But it's not very sturdy and I would NEVER disassembler / reassemble this again. 01/06/2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by GirlieKinz Nice piece for a childs/teens room The unit is nice but was missing two parts when delivered. Have called customer service in hopes of getting the parts delivered. Hoping they come as promised or the unit will never be fully assembled. I will follow up with a review to advise of the outcome. I am only giving it three stars so far, until I see how the missing parts are handled. 12/31/2011
