Rated 4 out of 5 by Geranium2 Good performance -- low price My preference was a screen with a 4/3 width/height ratio. I expected to shrink the vertical drive a few percent and have narrow black bars top and bottom. As I recall, the Acer has a native resolution is 1280 x 1024, with a ratio of 5/4.The monitor seems to have no provision for shrinking the scan in either direction, so the presentation is slightly stretched vertically with 4/3 resolution screen shots from my computer. However, it has been very easy to adapt to this slight distortion.I did not install the Acer driver, and thus do not know the resolution choices which that would have provided. I simply use the 4/3 screen resoluitons available on my computer and treat the Acer monitor as if it were a presenting a 4/3 image.The monitor was easy to set up, and has performed very well so far. 10/09/2011
