Rated 5 out of 5★ by PS3playa Enhanced sound immersion This xRocker chair has grown on me the more I use it. I didn’t think much of it at first and didn’t know any better, but now I’m glad I’ve been exposed to it. It is somewhat addicting to use as I’m now simply immersed in surround sound of this xRocker. Now that I’ve used this race-car looking xRocker chair, watching movies, listening to music and playing video games is not the same without the xRocker as it enhances the whole experience. From the box, setting up doesn’t take much effort as instructions are sufficient and easy to understand. Arm-rests are the only thing that needs attaching to the xRocker seat. It comes with a few cables to cater different attachment media devices. Obviously need to use the main power adaptor cable to power the speakers that's built in the xRocker. The only other cable I used was the RCA stereo cable to connect to PS3. The PS3 is already connected to a 5.1 surround system via HDMI, so was initially stumped connecting the xRocker to PS3 as the xRocker does not go far to mention the necessary PS3 cable needed. However, to connect xRocker via RCA stereo cable to PS3, you need to dig out another cable that actually came with the PS3 console which I didn’t think I had, but was glad when it was found. Using the PS3-RCA-adaptor cable to connect to xRocker was quite simple. So I’m getting audio thru the surround sound and now the xRocker as well.Playing video games is not the same without the xRocker. Not only do you get vibration feedback thru the hand held video game controller but also thru the xRocker chair. The sound is impressive coming out of this chair, which is built into the back part of the chair, as it’s like being in a sound box/booth at a professional audio store, probably because the speakers are so close to the ears.Another xRocker feature used, which is just fantastic, is the Bluetooth capability to connect to other devices. I was able to connect an android phone to the xRocker via Bluetooth, and played music stored on phone. In addition, played FIFA 14 and many other good quality android phone/tablet games and was immensely surprised of the ease and quality of sound from the xRocker. At one point, I had the vibration and bass adjustment knob to the max to test what it could do. It felt like a serious back massage that’ll make you smile at the shock of what this xRocker can pump out.My main gripe is that it’s a bit heavy to move around the living room as this xRocker doesn’t have any legs or wheels to slide around. The price is slightly high, but once you’re seated in this interactive audio chair, you kind of forget about the price tag and feel the quality your back and behind feels in this amazing chair. 12/05/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by fallout125 Same issue as the rest Ive had 2 others like this and they all had one problem, the seat isn't padded enough so it isn't the most comfortable thing to sit in. This chair would have made a better boombox. the Bluetooth works great and stays synced to my iPhone even when I switch it off. The bass is good but gets annoying for anything other than music, also the bass button falls off easily on mine because it arrived broken(makers fault not shipper). the vibrations are like what you get on a controller but they placed motor around your lower back so it is also annoying so I keep it off, it may be ok for gaming but I really wouldn't use this if I was actually gaming, I would be using my headset. If I didn't have a stereo system and a lazyboy I would probably use this a lot but not without adding some padding to the seat. If it weren't for the good sound quality I would have rated this a 3/5 11/29/2013
