Rated 5 out of 5 by bikernut nice phone AT&T finally listened. This phone does have a bright orange back lite display, very easy to read. The buttons are a nice large size, but not ridiculously large as they were on my last AT&T phone. Good answering machinespeaker phone works very well on this model. The hand set has decent sound quality. The volume is good. The equalizer and audio boost also enhance the sound. Needs no batteries, makes and receives calls during power outages. Rated 5 out of 5 Great for elderly people. This is a really nice phone for elderly people. My mother had a hard time hanging up cordless phones that sit in holsters. ( The battery would always die.) The buttons are big and it's easy to use. 05/26/2012

It's very easy to use, very basic, although with her disability, she cannot use the directory to call anyone but she can make regular dial phone calls and listen to answering machine.
