    Safe Pooch Since my local store didn't carry this item, I had to order it online. Between the price of the item and the free site-to-store shipping, it was the best deal I'd found! The only thing I didn't like was that it took so long (two weeks) to ship. The tether itself is really sturdy, and I love how easy it is to clip on and adjust the length...just a matter of seconds. The thing I like most about this tether, though, is that it does NOT attach to our car's seat belt; instead, it attaches to the child safety seat anchor in our back seat. Our dog is much more securely fastened this way, and I would recommend this to anyone! We are super-pleased! 05/24/2012

    Just what I needed to control my dog in the car. I had purchased a car harness for my dog (20# fox terrier) so she would not jump back and forth in the car while I was driving. The harness was supposed to be secured to the car via the seatbelt....but that turned out to be impossible. Seat belts are now 3-point (because they include the shoulder belt) and so there was no way to secure the car harness with the seat belt. I then realized I could use a large carabinere to attach my dog's harness to the passenger seat headrest in the back. Unfortunately that did not work either because it did not give the dog room to sit, lay, or get comfortable. I hit on the idea of the tether to attach the dog harness to the carabinere on the head rest. Now the dog can move around moderately in the back seat but can't jump up front, and can't get out of the car until I have her leash on her.Easy to use, sturdy and inexpensive. 11/09/2011
    Life saver ! My dog jumped all over the car. Using this tether solved that problem. Could have the windows down in the backseat without worrying about herjumping out. 08/01/2010
