Eight electrodes at the top of each ACCU-CHEK compact test strip help the system detect and prevent unreliable results, even with just 0.6 microliter of blood withdrawn. The Aviva system allows double dosing, so you can also apply more blood if needed. With features including a wide dosing window and a printed arrow that make testing easy, these easy-to-handle, quick-fill glucose test strips are preferred by those who need to test blood at regular intervals.

Too expensive The test is quick, requires a very small amount of blood. My problem is the expense. They advertise a card to save on the strips. Be sure to read the complete statement in the small print. You can't use it with Medicare etc. It is only good if your insurance covers the strips, otherwise you get 20 or 30 percent discount. An excellent and helpful product The Accu-Chek Softclix (200) Lancets are very simple to use, and so easy to connect to my lancing device. I have seen others, and am glad that the Veterans Administration introduced me to the Accu-Chek products for measuring my glucose level. 09/29/2008
