Rated 5 out of 5★ by Momda I bought 2 of these for my cat. One for downstairs one for upstairs. My daughter has 2 cats and stole the upstairs one because they're so portable and she seems to move a lot. I've had this one for over 3 years and it shows wear and tear but has held up better than the $150 cat tree my son bought for his cats! It takes up little room, is easy to move around and in my opinion is a great buy.One word of warning though! If you have an old house with plaster ceilings use a small board between the top and the ceiling. The tension rod is strong and will punch a hole in the ceiling (as my daughter found out). 01/10/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Roki2 Great for climbing This tree is great for a cat that loves to climb. Our cats however also love to use it as a scratching post. The bottom level carpet has been mostly removed by them over the last few months. This has held together pretty well otherwise. It is held upright by a spring compression on the top which has really stood up to their running and jumping. I think this is a great cat tree for the price. We have two cats and have had it for over 6 months now and it is still standing. 02/19/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by jrw1214 Not good for more than one cat! I've got three cats and they love to run around and play. Because I live in an apartment I don't have that much space so I figured this would be great for the corner in our office. We had problems from the get go. Make sure you measure the height of your ceiling first! Because ours was just a few inches short and it caused serious problems trying to make it fit. Then within a few weeks the whole thing snapped in half. So I screwed it back together and that lasted maybe a week before other parts snapped in half. I put so many screws in the thing that it I finally gave up. My cats loved it and I tried everything to salvage the thing but no matter what I did it just kept falling apart. I was bumped that I spent this much money on something that didn't even last past a month. The other problem I noticed was that the tubing is made of nothing more than cardboard with a thin layer of fabric on top so when the cats used it as a scratching post the fabric ripped off and made an awful mess around the office. Honestly I would put your money to something more stable or buy a cat tree. This thing really isn't worth the money. 03/08/2013
