It&#39;s 23 inches from the gauge body to the center of the port connector. The port on my &#39;06 Escape is near the firewall and it was plenty long enough.

Just the armored hose, between the connector and the gauge/Freon tap/trigger mechanism, is 21&quot;. Overall length is almost 28&quot;.  It should let you reach any portion of your engine compartment without strain.

a/c pro very bad product dont waste your money and time, a/c pro it is only spend $40 on the bad product and you damage your a/c compressor and have to go to mechanic to fix your compresor and it is cost you $ 600-1000 a/c pro not return your money. Don't waste your money dont buy a/c pro, go to mechanic and span $80-$120 for recharge your a/c system. a/c pro very bad product be smart dont waste your money !!!

Yes it will work with any brand of R-134a refrigerant since this is a professional grade unit.

If it is a can of R-134A, then it should. I suggest using 12 oz cans as once the can is screwed on the unit, it cannot be removed until empty.

Wow. This made filling freon a breeze. It has a long  durable hose so your not so close to your work. Nice size gauge and the trigger style is nice. You can control how much you put in the system. It fits on all freon cans with the screw nipple style.

Does exactly what it should

Worked good for me.  Used the whole can of Freon so I can't say if this seals good enough to hold any remaining or un-used Freon for any length of time.

You don't have to be a pro to use this items, very straight forward and very easy to use, even a cave man could do it. Make sure you buy this one as there are knock-offs ones on the Internet, make sure you but this one, the others are a total waste f good money.

worked as it should

Purchased a little over a year ago.  Used it once.  Needed to use it again this year and it was leaking around the trigger.  Called AC Pro to complain, saying I should get more than one use out of it.  Even though it was a little over a year old, they offered to send out a replacement at no cost to me.  I was floored.  So, the product deserved 1 star but got 2 because of the unheard of customer service!  I'll be getting the new model that works with puncture and self sealing cans.

Defective

This is only a hose and guage!!! NO CAN!!!

The item pictured with the can is http://www.walmart.com/ip/AC-Pro-Professional-Formula-Refrigerant/20461354 and costs almost twice as much.

This guage appears to be better quality than the ones that come prepackaged with the cans.
