Rated 5 out of 5 by Pattzy Jumper movie Bought for my son by request as a birthday gift. I watched it with him and loved it. Loosely based on the book, it does stray quite a bit with adding characters and scenes, but it is BASED on the book. Not a reproduction of text to film. I think the director and screenwriter came up with an awesome movie. Very entertaining. Such a neat concept: jumping through current time. It's not time travel, but instant transport to another place. I loved Hayden Christensen in this. Much more grown up than in Star Wars. He did a great job. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for some clean, family sci-fi fun!!!! Keep in mind the rating and age of the kids your house. Mine were okay to view the teensy bit of fighting violence the movie contains. WATCH THIS MOVIE!!! 07/09/2012
