The 98" measurement is the circumference of the bean bag chair.

98+ perimeter is not as large as it might sound. If it were square, that would make it a 24 1/2" cube.

98" must be the total circumference as it is absolutely not 98" wide... more like 36"

98" must be the circumference. It is the perfect size for children up to the age of 14.

Shake it out and "arrange it" and then measure around the largest point.

They are measuring the circumference to get the 98".

It can be added, but it is stuffed very well.  I can&#39;t imagine why one would need to add more.  There is a metal clip you would have to remove first if you decided to add more.

This item is so cute, nice colors and seems to be made well. My grandson didnt even realize it was a christmas gift! But it was full of beans, and shipped quickly. The packaging was a bit torn in the shipment but disnt effect the product. We are very happy w this purchase

I absolutely love this! Bought it for my grandson and he loves to lay on it, jump on it and play with it. I have sat in it a few times and its totally comfortable even to my old body.It's light enough to move around when needed, throw it in the back of the car to take places with if needed. I would recommend this for anyone of all ages!

A Wonderful Product

WE PURCHASED 2 OF THESE FOR OUR BOYS(4yrs&2yrs old) FOR CHRISTMAS, AND I MUST SAY THEY ARE GREAT! WE WANTED THE KIDS TO HAVE SOMETHING TO LOUNGE IN WHEN THEY WATCHED TV. THEY ARE WELL MADE AND A LOT BIGGER THAN I HAD EXPECTED,MY HUSBAND AND I CAN SIT COMFORTABLY IN THEM AS WELL. ALSO EASY TO CLEAN WHEN LITTLE HANDS MAKE BIG MESSES.

Great Bean Bag Chair

Well constructed. Love the bright colors. A teaching tool for my 16 months old grandson. He sits in it to watch his videos and it keeps him from being too close to the tv. I like the built in handle also. It's a big hit at our house

I read they reviews on this before I bought this and alot said it was smaller than expected, but seeing it was for my grand kids age 4 and 1, i figured i wouldn't need anything adult sized anyway, and the sale price of under $20 I couldn't pass it up..Well I was suprised at how big they actualy are..I can fit in them with room to spare..The only thing is I had to un-stuff one of them because it was way to filled, I took out 1 small trash bag size, and I think I might have to take out another one, besides that they are great, they have the child double safety zippers on them, It you need to un zip it for any reason you will need a paper clip you use as the pulley tab, and if there is a metal clip right under the zipper pull use pliers to take it off, I had to go online to research how to do it..I'm very happy with them both and so are my grandkids.

Durable and good size

I bought this for my nephew as a Christmas present, therefore I can not comment on durability or ease of cleaning yet......however I am hoping that both important features will be sufficient once he receives and tests it out. The price was great and ordering it was easy and convenient. Happy Holidays!

Good Value

Such a sad disappointment.  I bought 5 of these for my grandchildren for Christmas.  By mid February, I saw that the vinyl was splitting along the top and bottom seams.  There is no woven fabric backing the very thin vinyl, so the "beans" were just about to start coming out through the splits/tears.  I discovered this just in time.  The vinyl is only backed b a very thin layer of fuzz.  The vinyl itself is paper thin.  I had to confiscate the beanbag chairs before the beans were everywhere.  VERY SAD KIDS !!!!!
