I actually bought this for my husband, but when it arrived I tried it out first!!! Needless to say, it's now mine!! It's not that I had lots of nose hairs, but just the light, little ones are now gone. I was nervous about putting it in my nostrils but you can't even feel it. It works like a charm. I should have bought this long ago!!

Don't waste your time or money or ears or nose on any other rotary clipper than this one. You can find some cheaper and some more expensive but this one is the best...trust me! There is another trimmer that has a thin long head and it also is very good but as for a rotary type, this one can't be beat.

I bought this for my bf. He says it gets all the hair and doesn't push them up instead like previous trimmers. And it doesn't leave blunt ends that dig into the side of his nose like previous trimmers.

I have had two other hair trimmers from other companies and both have had the plastic guides for the spindles that move the blades wear out in a matter of months. Does Panasonic use plastic for the same function?
by JEHAG 9/20/2009
  • I believe it does but my old one lasted for years without a problem till I dropped it onto a concrete floor.

  • I have had mine for over a year now and it cuts as well as when I first used it. I am very satified with it.

  • The guard on this one is metal and I think it should last a long time.

  • The tip is made of stainless steal, that covers the blades, and the spindles look to be metal as well, handle is all plastic

  • The metal "blades" are attached to a hard plastic material. I have used a previous Panasonic trimmer which I had for years and never had a problem with the plastic piece.

  • Yes they are plastic, any I have ever owned have all been that way, that's probably why they're only 10 to 13 dollars, all the money is is in the outer case, and they need to perfect the blade area, even if it costs us a little more

  • The component that holds the blades is plastic and the spindle that turns the blade holder is plastic but the construction is solid and fits tight and I don't see it wearing out. The only way I could see it wearing out is if you have wires for nose hair and put a huge load on the delicate parts.

  • Yes it does have a plastic drive. I havent had mine long enough to see if it will hold out. The reviews said it lasted a long time.
