Rated 5 out of 5 by Bubbajoe63 The Longest Day Blu-ray The movie The Longest Day was based on the excellent book by Cornelius Ryan. The Longest Day is a historically accurate film about the events leading up to and including D-Day. The cast of actors were outstanding. One of the best if not the best WWII movie, I can't believe how great this looks on Blu-ray. I own both SD and BD versions. It should be in your collection for WWII or history buffs. 05/13/2010
