The Suncast Garden Hose Reel helps keep your hose neat and ready to use. The hose reel holds 100 feet of hose and prevents it from getting tangled while winding or unwinding. It comes with a four-foot leader hose and a watertight connection that prevents leaks between the hose reel and the hose. The swinging handle allows you to carry it easily. My previous reels, I'd need to drag them out of the space in order to pull and wind the hose - which definately wasn't easy, and why have a reel if it's that difficult! ANYWAY - this one fits perfectly, I can pull the hose from where it sits, and wind it back without any scraping or difficulty. I would add one helpful hint, not specific to this particular hose reel: add a 'quick disconnect' from the leader hose to the reel - this really helps with any water dribble (only brass ones, and DRAMM makes the best). 05/14/2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lenny1 Garden hose reel - could be done little better Well, it is work now, but couple of things I don't like.1. Reel packed with short hose (that go from home valve to reel plastic fitting) and this hose made from very hard plastic-that not really flexible-and was difficult to make connection with reel that is not leaking. Once I replaced short hose with more flexible one from Home Depot (about 7 dollars)then it was fine.2. I would prefer to have this reel in ground position little higher, otherwise if you don't mind to bend every time you need, - then it maybe ok for you. 05/11/2013
