Rated 3 out of 5 by TxStorm A tad disappointed We were delighted to receive this as a Christmas gift.I think it will do its job as intended but I’m a little concerned about the overall quality. A couple of notes:Likes: Looks, size, mobility and ease of installation. Very simple and straightforward except that….Dislikes: Some shoddy craftsmanshipa) One Leg, where it attaches to the cooler - The pre-drilled hole is way off. This leg is held by three screws because of the misalignment.b) A different leg, the wheel should easily screw in. The pre-drilled hole was way off. I had to run to the hardware store and purchase a ½” tap in order to re-thread the hole. (add $12 to the cost)Note: I opted to visit the hardware store myself rather than deal with the whole return ship/await replacement part scenario.c) Bottle opener. A minor thing but the opener itself was misaligned. I had to bend it with channel locks to get it aligned.d) There is a small drain extender. It is chrome plated plastic (of the cheapest quality). I do not think this will last more than a year, less if someone bumps it.Then there was the parts package itself. This is a minor gripe as well but when there are about 20 extra washers and 10 extra screws, it just makes me review the installation to ensure that I did it properly.Again, this is a very simple setup and it seems like someone at the just plant tossed in whatever misc. washers and screws they thought should be there..So, I like the product so far but I’m unimpressed with the quality that I’ve seen. After five days, there was still ice in the cooler and the remaining can drinks remained cold! Very easy to drain with spout extender. Only issue in assembling the unit was the mis-alignment of a set of holes to attach one of the wheels. 01/11/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Isme1960 Makes a great gift! The steel patio cooler was a gift for my husband on our anniversary. He had seen them before and we had purchased a different kind of cooler. We were disappointed in it because it was tall and cylindrical and was hard to reach something toward the bottom. This is sturdy, keeps beverages very cold and is easy to maneuver and maintain. I recommend it to anyone. And it's a great price at WalMart. I looked around and WalMart was the best price. 06/01/2009
