On the box it says: This new FLYWHEEL Director's Cut has been re-edited, color-corrected, and has improved sound quality. The Director's Cut also has new bonus features. Hope this helps.by mouse58561/4/2016Was this answer helpful? (1) (0)Was this answer helpful?
From Wikipedia: "A director's cut is a specially edited version of a film,... Director's cuts generally remain unreleased to the public because, as far as film is concerned, with most film studios the director does not have a final cut privilege..." Maybe "Director's Cut" has become a generic term that includes voiced-over director's comments while the movie is showing. Two examples of this are Frequency and The Count of Monte Cristo.by Tadore7/3/2012Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)Was this answer helpful?

Director's Cut, means that the Director has added "extra" movie footage, comments, or out takes from the filming of this movie. The director believes that they are beneficial to the consumer in some way. They did not detract from the purchase and some of the "added features" were enjoyable to view.by Guineashopper1/22/2016Was this answer helpful? (6) (0)Was this answer helpful?
