Bought bike for wife for her Birthday 3 weeks ago. She has had 3 back surgeries and needed a low impact form of exercise. This was almost perfect for her. I had to change the hand-grips and add a water bottle holder. She can now ride with me comfortably for 6 miles. She rides it 6 days a week and says its very comfortable. The only con is the bike is a little heavy but its steel frame makes it sturdy.

This is a great mix between a road bike with slick tires and tall frame, and a mountain bike with comfy seat and shocks.

The bike will handle normal use as stated. As sold in the store the bike was not set up correctly for safe use ( gears, brakes etc). I had to take it to a professional bike shop to really be dialed in. I bought this for my girl friend and do not expect it to be the same quality and performance as my Trek dual sport. Keep in mind the Trek was three times the price and I really pound it during my outdoor workouts. A proper set up and tune by the store and I would rate this bike an A+.

    • GO TO TWO BIKE SHOPS IN YOUR AREA. ASK TO BE FITTED ON SOME OF THERE BIKES. SEE WHAT SIZE THEY SAY. REMEMBER TO ASK FOR FRAME SIXE AND TIRE SIZE. THEY KNOW YOUR SHOPPING AT A BOX STORE ALSO. TAKE A MEASURE TAPE WHEN YOU GO. MEASURE THE BIKE DURING FITTING SEE IF A MATCH CAN BE FOUND AT WAL-MART. BIKE STORES ARE THERE TO SELL HI-END BIKES. IF YOU WANT TO SAVE MORE TAKE YOUR MEASUREMENTS TO WAL-MART AND SEE. BANG FOR THE BUCK IS WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT.AS A RETAIL SALESMAN FOR 20+YEARS MYSELF, I DO IT THIS WAY SEE THE HIGH AND THE LOWER COST OF WHAT I NEED AND WANT AND TRY TO REST IN THE MIDDLE. IF YOU USE THE BIKE DAILY YOU MAY WANT TO LOOK AT WAL-MART'S BEST BIKE IN YOUR SIZE. FIT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN PRICE IF YOUR NOT RIDING IT , WHO CARES...

    • Remember 700cc is the tire hight and not the bike. The frame maybe smaller but try the lower the seat all the way down and fit snug under you clamp trick as mentioned here as well ( another posting here) a 24" bike might work but if you really want to know go to your local bike shop to get " FITTED". Its well worth the money for a quick, safe fitting from a pro. Money well spent. Then come to walmart for the PERRFECT SIZE for you and your budget. Hope that helps..MR Jay

    • 700c means the tire size is 28". I'm assuming the frame size is either 15" or 17" since that's the average frame size in women's hybrid bikes. If you think you fit on a bike that has a 24" tire size, then you definitely need to go smaller.
