This is a nice mattress if you intend to use it only for young kids below certain weight. After only two weeks of being used by my 17 year old daughter, it has flattened in the middle area reducing it's height to almost 50%.

You get what you pay for! Spend the extra $20 and get the Super Sleep Innerspring Smooth Top
Mattress, Medium Firm. That mattress is much better!

My two kids ages 5 and 2 had slept on this mattress for two nights and left an impression/sunken indentations in the mattress by the third day. Even my 30lb two year old left a mark in his mattress. We returned them for a refund. Great price but bad product.
Rated 4 out of 5 by oceanasmom Bought this mattress for the top bunk of my four year old daughter's new bunk beds. We love the pink, futon style of it. And it was very affordable compared to other "bunk bed mattresses" She has slept on it for a week now. She says it's very comfortable and sleeps well on it. But, after a few days, I noticed an indentation in the middle of the mattress, where she has been sleeping. I hope that by turing the mattress occassionally, this won't be a major issue. I am a little dissapointed that it indented like that after such a short time.
Rated 4 out of 5 by MomofMahem The mattress are almost exactly what I expected, with one major exception. They are sold as bunk bed mattresses and while they fit the beds perfectly, there is no support underneath and with very little effort the mattress slides between the slats on the bed. This is solved with plywood, but it should be noted in the discription that support wil be needed.
Rated 4 out of 5 by DeAnn81 Pink Bunk Bed Mattress
I'm neutral about the mattress. I'm hoping it puffs up a bit after being unrolled. It is more like a futon mat than a twin bed mattress. It is foamy soft with a quilted cover. I believe it will be okay for my 2 year old bunk as he isn't very heavy. I will buy the $69 mattress next time for my older daughter.
Note: My 8yr old did lay on it for an hour. She told me you can't feel the bunk bed slats. I will be using plywood support only because I'm a worry wart.
All in all it wasn't what I expected. It does function on the bunk. It is the right size. Good for the low low price.

I first thought these mattresses were RED but they are very pick! I bought them for my 4 and 5 year old boys. I had to go buy a piece of partical board for their bunk beds because they are not a good fit and you can feel all the boards underneath if you don't have the big board down. As long as you have the partical board though, they are comfortable enough for kids I guess? They are thin enough for the top bunker not to fall off and thisa would be the only reason I would suggest them to anyone. I also think they should be a little cheaper for the quality that they are.

HORRIBLE My daughter is very very petite 7 yrs old and only 37 pounds and this mattress was flat in the middle even when I flipped it daily!!

I bought this thinking it was a mattress for a bunk bed! NOT AT ALL! it was a bag shaped like a mattress filled with stuffing! It fell straight through the top bunk, I returned it to the store the next morning! Then bought a real mattress for my daughter, then when the second finally came in I walked from the site to store pick up straight to the front to return it! UGH I have never bought a bigger piece of trash in my life! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

I purchased these for my kids for their new room to go along with their new bunkbeds...They are very uncomfortable. I am getting my kids new mattresses due to my kids complaining about how bad these ones are...Don't buy these mattresses. Guess you get what you pay for.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Ourjobasparents A nest of recycled fibers
This was brought for my 9 and 3 year old daughters whom at the time I just brought a bunk bed for. When I first opened them I was surprised that they were cute. But when the kids sat on them they could feel the slates through the mattresses. My youngest is still having issues with potty training at night. When she had an accident I had removed the cover of the mattress to find that the mattress was made out of glued together fibers. The mattress had to be cleaned because the urine went through the mattress cover all the way through the other side and dripped on the floor. As I was cleaning the glued fibers of the mattress were falling apart. The cats and my 3 year old had fun with the chunks of fibers all over the floor. I have had these mattresses for a year only because I wasted money on them and did not have any extra money to get something else. Now I can sit them out on the trash so I can purchase them real mattresses!
Rated 1 out of 5 by Jenjen0715 This mattress is very flimsy, it has no support whatsoever. It's practically a pillow the size of a mattress, I'm extremely disappointed

I bought this mattress for a trundle in my daughters room to have an extra space for sleepovers. The mattress is not as sturdy as I thought since I unfolded it from a box but it holds up ok. I should have gotten a thicker one. If you were to use this every once in a while I think it would be alright. Not an every day bed.
Rated 3 out of 5 by HighPriestess Not sturdy
I would not recommend this mattress as it simply isn't sturdy enough to last. The only reason why I didn't return it is because it was for my 18month old son. I figured for that price, even if he got a year or two out of it, he'd be ok. However, for a child older than that, I would not recommend this product.
Rated 1 out of 5 by AcustomerinBoise Not actually a mattress
This is a big pillow, not a mattress. It reminds menof a futon. It comes rolled up in a box! I returned it to the store.
Rated 1 out of 5 by EclecticValueShopper Not good at all.
I couldn't figure out why it would be sold as part of this set, but my recommendation is to buy 2 of the other mattress offered in the bundle price. This pink "mattress" is so flimsy, it falls through the support slats and even if you put a bunk bed support panel underneath it, this "mat" doesn't provide much support and standard twin size sheets are too big. It's a waste of money for this purpose and not worth the purchase. Since I'm stuck with it, I've tucked it underneath the bunk bed to use as a napmat or for the kids to lay on it while watching tv. :-(
Rated 5 out of 5 by Omyta Perfect for use!
I bought it for my daughter's twin bed and it fits perfectly and is very comfortable, not too thick and not too thin.

This was a great purchase for the money. The mattress is comfortable.
Rated 1 out of 5 by BargainHunter619 Absolutely Not!
This mattress looks very well put together in the picture. However, when I picked it up and it was folded up in a box half the size of a twin mattress I should have known immediately. the color is lovely, the fact that the covering zips off to wash is great but the material inside the mattress is the illegitimate child of memory foam and pocket lint. When I opened the cover it was a mass of randomly colored string and cotton that was molded together very loosely. So loosely it had already began to tear and shed. So you can imagine how supportive that is and how long that support will last. This mattress is not suitable for a bunkbed and if you buy it you will need to replace it VERY soon. As in the next day, I already have this thing boxed up and ready to go back. This is NOT a real mattress. It's a really pretty cover stuffed with trash. Add a little extra and get a real mattress.
Rated 1 out of 5 by mattressmom I bought this mattress for my eight year old daughter 6 months ago and she already needs a new one! It has a dip in it where she sleeps! Would highly recommend getting a thicker mattress!
Rated 2 out of 5 by TheBlueDoor Not good for slat beds
We bought one of these mattresses to go with a set of bunk beds that we also purchased from Walmart. We already have a twin mattress and it seemed that many of the top bunk mattresses are similar to this mattress, low profile, light weight, and portable. However, this mattress isn't firm enough to stay in the bed frame. It says not for beds with slats more than 6", but the problem that we have is at the head/foot of the bed the mattress would get stuck between the slats leaving a good sized gap.
This mattress may work for camping and possibly for regular use, but I wouldn't use it with a slat bed. If you plan to, you may consider purchasing a small box spring system to support it. We would prefer to keep our kids as low to the ground as possible and are going with a firmer mattress.
Rated 4 out of 5 by SScranton My daughter loves her pink bed! It is like a futon mattress, just not as hard. It came rolled up in a big box. Also, it seems to be a little smaller than an average twin, just a bit.
Rated 1 out of 5 by magicgal23 hated it
bought this for my 5 yr old son, and hes tall but skinny and it barley gave him any cushion between the bunk bed bars, ended up buying a regular mattress.
Rated 3 out of 5 by xqqbee Not what I expect
The mattress is very comfortable. However, the center is not firm enough. So every week I have to flip the mattress to avoid the fell-down center.
Rated 1 out of 5 by kimbosdesigns Fell apart
The actual mattress is made of the kinda stuff that u find in carpet padding...Took the cover off to wash it..and now the cover won't go on correctly..plus the stuff in it is falling apart..its a huge mess...worst purchase ever....

I got this for my 6yr old daughter. She lovesss it!! We got it for her bunk bed and it was a little smaller then expected. Nice though. I'm 5'5" and I've fallen asleep on it w no problems.
Rated 4 out of 5 by jasger Good for small child.
I got this mattress to transition my four year old from a toddler bed to a standard twin-sized one. The bed I had gotten (Sauder Shoal Creek Twin Mates Bed) has a flat, solid platform for the mattress to sit on, so I had no problems with bars like those who used this for a bunk bed. I can see, however, how it would be uncomfortable without support. Because of accidents, I wanted a mattress that was easily expendable, so it meets my expectations in that respect. The way I have it set up, the mattress it covered with a waterproof sheet with a foam topper over it to make it more comfortable, as well as an old comforter underneath because the bed platform was rough and produced a little dust. It is very comfortable, I have laid on it several times to read to my kid, and so far I do not see any drooping or indentation on the mattress, but I will flip it every now and then to be on the safe side. This is not comparable to a normal mattress and I will probably switch it out in a few years when my child is bigger, but it's doing the trick for now.
Rated 2 out of 5 by chell87 they weren't what i expected. they are kind of soft, but lose form after a few days. i wouldn't buy these again.
Rated 3 out of 5 by monroenpam Ok for small children, not the best mattress ever made, looks ok, comes folded and takes a while to get in shape.
