Good value for the money The mattress isn't the highest quality, especially for sleepers wtih bad backs, but works great for a guest room and is comfortable when used as a couch. The package upon arrival was heavy and awkward (I did it alone) but efficient for the product. The matttress is easy to manuever to fold the futon up or down and not too heavy to do alone. 08/16/2010
great product and good value! I have owned my futon mattress for 2 months now, and it has been great since the first day. I use it daily on my futon in place of a sofa, and I have even slept on it a few times. It is so much nicer than the cheap mattresses that usually come with a futon. I was hesitant to order this item since some of the other reviews talked about their mattress having an odor; I am happy to say that mine had no odors. Although the mattress is thick, I had no problems getting it to fold in the middle and stay in place in the sofa position. The only problems I had at all were with the FedEx delivery, but of course that is not Walmart's fault. I would recommend to purchase the mattress, and if at all possible use the free site-to-store delivery. 01/29/2011
Perfect-Worth It This wasn't that expensive of a futon mattress yet it is nice and thick enough. The delivery was free and SUPER fast and convenient. It came all rolled up so if you are going to bring it to college, up north, or even to your basement it's in a nice bag (although still heavy) that makes it easier to carry. I've liked it so far and it's (1) kept it's shape (2) been thick/comfy (3) stayed on the frame [so many mattresses are floppy and slide off or are too thick and don't bend]. Definite recommend for college/kid/occasional use...probably not for everyday sleeping or a "nice" guest bed. 09/07/2010
Happy with item Bought this item for my 13year old son's room. We got him a bunk bed with a funton on the bottom, Didn't want to pay 200.00 for a futon mattress at the furniture store especially since it was going into my teenage son's room. Item was shipped to home for free. We needed two people to get it up the stairs and on to the futon frame. So far we are pleased with item, I have had funton mattresses before so my expectations weren't high. This so far though has seemed to beat my expectations. Its not used everyday as a bed but is more used in the couch form. My son's friends have slept on it and say its comfy. I am waiting to see what happens once its used more if the springs will stay in place or start "popping" out. Only time will tell that, for now though seems to be great. 07/24/2010
