they are screened and so far it has kept all bugs and critters out.

No they are not ... The bottom 12 in roll up and connect to the house with Velcro .

no..only the windows and door has a screen..the bottom is left open..there is velcro when you lift the lower flaps that holds it open..no screens..course you can put your own there

The vents are just flaps. I put some paving stones on top to keep out chipmunks. Worked for the most part.

Hi- I live at 7650 elevation in Lake Tahoe and this is my second small greenhouse. They do not retain any heat at night. My thermometer shows the temp in the greenhouse to be the same as outside by very early in the AM. They will only get warmer during the day if the sun is out. In the summer if we get a cold spell I have put a little space heater in the greenhouse get through the night. I have even covered it with blankets to help hold in the hat. I think it will be very hard for you to keep a hibiscus alive as it will get too cold without some type of heat source. I love the greenhouse for my summer tomato growing! I take the greenhouse down for winter. We have too much snow.

I'm a little confused by your question. You have a hibiscus tree planted in the ground and you are looking to use this as a cover? Do you intend to make this a portable greenhouse that you remove in the spring? (Not too practical.) As far as how warm, it will be just as cold as the outside temperature although you may get some relief from windchill. Also during the day, while sunny, it will heat up a little, at night, same as outside temp.

It won't keep plants safe from the cold. I had some to freeze. I put a small $10. electric heater I purchased from WM in it and it seemed to do fine.

i live in southwest iowa and planted a,braided hibiscus tree in the ground,how warm will this greenhouse keep in the cold of winter ?

I used six 3 foot lengths of 3/4" rebar, drilled a 1/4" through hole about an inch from the end. Ground the other end into a shallow point and sledgehammered them into the ground about an inch inside the interior perimeter. (Hammering with the interior out of the way.) Then after assembling the greenhouse I used 3/16" aircraft cable in a small loop to 'tiedown' the green house to the rebar stakes. It has survived 100 mph winds.

I placed 6'x6' timbers around the outside perimeter and tied the greehouse to them with rope. Then to keep the cold out I put 2' high insulatioin I had on hand around the entire bottom of it. Then put a small heater in there. Not recommended for extreme weather areas.

Attach it to the ground or lash it to something. I lashed min to my cattle gate and put a heavy beam thru the other end's lower bars.

If you get a lot of wind, cinch the top down well.

How do you attach this greenhouse to the ground? What keeps it from blowing away, or cold breezes (icy rain?) from blowing in around the bottom edge?

This certainly exceeded my expectations. I was so excited seeing it go up. Couldn"t wait to put my plants in it. Good thing it came so fast,I would of lost my plants with a drop in temps here,it dipped
to 30 gere in Florida.My friend got it up one day before the freeze. I didn"t have to water my plants
for 5 days. Love the vents on the front and back and the wide door with a zipper. we put a heater inside and it worked fine. I seen where some peoples zippers broke after a couple of years. Well I'll just take a tapered candle and run along the zippers. I think that should do the trick.

Easy up for a 65 year old guy.

Product quality exceeded advertised expectations. Instructions could really be better for many people, but I basically used the pictures to erect the greenhouse. Unit is very sturdy & I have no problem with the strong winds. I did build a 2x4 frame & laid 2-4x8 sheets of 5/8" treated plywood as a floor. This allowed anchoring the greenhouse to the floor platform for convenience & stability. Only added about $70 to the overall cost. Very pleased with the greenhouse - worth the money and a great value.

I purchased this size because it covers my open deck, 
This  deck needed protection from the sun and rain.  it will be screwed  into the wood. and protected from the wind .{ just bought it and have not covered it yet.} 

So  its just what I wanted.  We have a small farm,  So this is great for starting my  vegetable seedlings.

Great Greenhouse, very well constructed, solid heavy duty frame.
Live in a very windy stormy weather zone, Tornado Alley! Had it up for a week and our weekly storms and wind hit. This little Greenhouse went through 80 MPH winds and faired Great. I did however use 30" anchors at each corner to brace it. One should also reinforce the end pannels with more Gromets and tie to the frame with cord as the side panels are because the lock ties did break on the two Gromets with such high wind. So far this little Greenhouse has gone through 4 major storms with wind and 1" hail and all is Great. Great Product Great Price. I know it will bring me much Gardning Pleasure. Would love to get a bigger one next year.

Wonderful Greenhouse

Loved the greenhouse. Only negative is it is not strong enough to hang plants from the roof. There is just not enough structural integrity. Overall great value. We are very happy with it and it only took about 1 1/2 hours for two of us to put together. Great deal! I would like to be able to buy extra covers as I am sure the cover will break down with time while the metal ribs will still be in great shape.

Mid Sized Instant Greenhouse

For a quality cheap easy to build greenhouse you can't go wrong with this brand. Set up was quick and simple for 2 people took less than 2 hours including the wood base frame I used to attach to a concrete patio.  I recommend adding TeX screw at all slip together connection which double the stiffness and fills much more structurally sound. I was also a little concerned about ventilation but even  with 90 degree temps I haven't noticed any issues.

Good easy set up greenhouse

When I read the description and reviews it led me to believe that when the bottom was rolled upped that there was screen to keep the bug's and (critter's) from entering the green house.. There is not !!
The direction's were a little vague also.. Have someone there who can read and decipher what they have in mind.. After all that said the Green House is more than expected for the price paid.. Wife is excited and I can hardly get her to leave it. It has up to this point with stood the hard rain and wind with the anchor system provided..

No screen's included

Assembly went quite smoothly for this 62 year old.
I also used #8 3/4 inch self tapping sheet metal screws on the joints that did not have regular screws. This worked out well and is a more solid assembly.
I used 10 inch aluminum tents stakes to secure the greenhouse to the ground and these should hold good against most winds we get here in Utah.
I am please that the greenhouse helps keep the 4 foot by 8 foot raised garden bed I built for my wife from drying out completely after she waters the plants. This is a big plus as water is a premium in the desert like this and the UV protective covering keeps the moisture from evaporating to quickly.
Over all, we are happy with our purchase.

Satisfied So far

This sure gets hot in the sun. Venting is a slight problem; perhaps, with practice, we'll get it right. Varmints can get in under the flaps - we added screening.

Still haven't taken item out of box. Box did come damaged & retaped though. Just haven't finished flooring & foundation this will be attched to yet due to weather.

I have owned this greenhouse for 2 seasons now (took it down over the winter). The back screen window ripped as did the zipper for the door. I am going to try and put in my own door. The metal hoops are 1" and fairly strong, as I used self tapping screws to hold all joins together. I also anchored the four corners with fence pipes 1 foot into the ground and 1/2" wire put through holes I drilled into the pipe. I think I may get another year out of the shell, but will take that off over the winter to protect it. Replacement shells are pretty costly ($75 for new front and back and over $100 for main greenhouse cover.
