Rated 1 out of 5 Poor Television
I purchased this TV and exchange it for the same TV because the DVD feature did not work. My second TV's DVD feature didn't work either.

we had this product for less than three months and its stopped working!! DOn't be fooled by its good picture in the store. It will quit working on you. I know several people who have had the same problem.
Rated 5 out of 5 Amazing TV!
This is a great TV! I didn't know about this TV until I went to walmart and saw it. I was going to purchase an RCA 32" LCD HDTV but this on had better picture and sound quality and had more features like a built in DVD player, USB port, SD Card reader 2 HDMI ports, 2 S-Video ports, (one is on the side) and many other features.
Definitely look into buying this TV and its totally worth it. Way better than a vizio. (which I had before, until it got jacked)
Rated 4 out of 5 by gamblerr A GOOD SET FOR THE MONEY
I bought this set about 7 or 8 months ago. So far, I have not had any problems with it. My only complaint is the DVD player. It sometimes would have a problem with taking the disk into the unit, it seem to stick, but the major complaint is the the DVD player is not a HD DVD player. You would think that when you buy a HD TV, that comes with a built in DVD player, it would be a HD DVD player. I went out and bought a number of HD DVD’s only to find they would not play on this unit. So I went out and bought a HD player. So I really do not use the built in DVD player on the unit. I am very happy with the picture, and the sound is not as bad as some seem to think. I mostly use my Theater surround sound system when I use it. But the normal sound system is not that bad at all.

I love this TV, I've had it for almost a week now and the picture is so clear and the sound is great. I would recommend this television, I am loving the DVD player inside the TV as well.

I went originally looking for a Vizio, but when I saw the picture on this one it looked just as good, plus it had a built in dvd player, built-in HD Tuner so I get all my digital channels WITHOUT a cable box, and TWO HDMI ports, not to mention all the other connections possible! I use this to watch Cable, play XBOX 360, my computer is hooked to it as a secondary monitor, play PS2, and all of them have looked and sounded awesome on this TV. That's another thing, the sound, wow. You can even play with the bass and treble levels! And the price was a great deal! I didn't know Polaroid made TVs but I WILL recommended this one to people I know and even look further into products by Polaroid.

What more can you ask for.

This TV had the best picture to me in the store and sounded great got it home 1 week after the 30 days was up and the DVD player broke. It constantly makes noises while the TV is on and not even in use. When a DVD is in the player it turns the screen pink with blue and yellow stripes. Definitly not worth the money I have spent considering the time I have had to take to get it fixed.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Melanie001 Terrible TV
I purchased this TV 1 and 1/2 years ago and wish I saved my money. The tv only has a 1 year manufacture warranty that I have already had to take advantage of. After owning it for 6 months the tv over-heated and did not get power. The local tv repairman that came to fix it said that he had seen 10 Poloroid tvs in the past week that had the same problem. Well it has been a year since and today, I came home to a tv that had no sound. The remote went out along time ago and finding a replacement was near impossible because universal remotes are not compatible with Poloroid tvs. I don't have kids, animals, and I don't leave the tv on for long periods of time so my conclusion is that this tv is very cheaply made. Save yourself the headache and buy a sony, sanyo, rca, or another notable brand.
Rated 2 out of 5 by jls1982 Buyer Beware
There are various elements about this TV which I found frustrating. First of all, switching from the cable setting to the DVD setting was irritating. (If I failed to put the DVD in during the minimal amount of allocated time, it would revert back to it's original TV setting, thus requiring me to go back into 'input', and scrolling back down to reselect 'DVD'). This does not seem all that bad at first, but I found that messing around with it for at least one or two minutes each time I wanted to watch a movie grew tiresome. Secondly, after a maximum of 30 uses, my DVD player stopped working!
However, there are two redeeming qualities: the sound and picture quality are great!
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mastaace Everything was pretty easy to set up. My 360 looks great. I bought a VGA cord to watch movies and shows from my computer to my TV screen. There are plenty of inputs for you to connect something to it. Has all the basic inputs, plus a USB, SD card, HDMI and VGA. The only down I have about my TV, is that the DVD player isn't so great. Likes to skip sometimes on new movies. That alone wouldn't keep me from buying another one. The built-in digital tuner picks up channels that look crystal clear. This is all from my personal TV, don't know about the other people who complained, but I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone.
Rated 1 out of 5 by RunningTheRoad Poor Quality Product
I purchased this television in December, 2007. In March, 2008, it stopped working. I called Polaroid and was told that they would supply the replacement part for approximately $600.00 and for $450, I could "trade-in" my television for a new on. I took it to the repair shop as it was out of warrenty and was told that the repair price would be greater than the cost of the television. Why would I want to spend any more money on a television that only lasted 15 months? The repair shop noted these TVs to be a real problem. Price is not always the best reason to by something.

THE PICTURE ON THIS TV IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE SOUND IS GREAT.
Rated 3 out of 5 by crestwood Good
ITs good picture not as clean as it was in the store it might be a cable issue
Rated 5 out of 5 by liljj1 Don't believe the negativity
The picture is so clear, so to true to colors; its unbelievable. Everyone who walks in comment on how clear the picture is. And the ironic part is that I don't have HDTV; currently, it is set on SD. Its unbelievable that is can get better than this! Sound is perfect and all the added features I am still getting use to...I've had it for a year now. And it is not surprising that Polariod made this; think about it; do they not make the best cameras/picures?
Rated 1 out of 5 by blueeyes33 good 4 1 month
do not buy tv lasted for one month to the day made a snapin sound then went blank
Rated 4 out of 5 by dirtdevil19 Great to watch AVI downloaded movies
This tv was great for the price. The only thing I didnt like about it was everytime you power it on the dvd player makes to much noise, and the best thing was the scan disk reader slot. You can play avi movies downloaded from the net with out converting or anything. Just pop in the SD card and play the movie.

I purchased this TV after researching it online. I was a little hesitant because it had a few bad reviews, but opted to see for myself. I plugged it in, set the time and did a channel scan and it was ready to go. No adjusting the picture or sound like some others mentioned. I love how thin it is and the built in DVD player cuts down on the clutter and cords. The TV was shipped site to store (very easy). I love, love this set and I am considering purchasing one for my sons room.
Rated 2 out of 5 by SenorCardgage Great TV...for a while
Got this one because it had a really good picture and it was less expensive than other brands. The sound is awful, but other than that I was really impressed with everything about it. Then after I had it a little over a year (i.e. about a month out of warranty) there is suddenly no picture. Polaroid won't do anything because it's out of warranty. Now I have a nice looking TV that is completely useless. I checked around online, and apparently the average lifespan of one of these is just until the warranty runs out. Will never buy a Poloroid TV again.

This is our first flat panel. It is a great TV. Perfect picture, sound and the dvd player works great.

The initial site-to-store delivery had been dropped and the screen was broken. Walmart was helpful in finding a replacement. After 4 days of usage the new TV's DVD player quit working properly. Polaroid's associate on then Help-Line was courteous and a replacement DVD player was to be shipped to my house and arrive in 2-3 days. It is now the 7th day and I am still waiting.
I really want to like this TV as this is my first new set. However, it is becoming quite difficult.

I bought this product about 4 months ago within a month and a half I started having problems with the built in DVD player. When I tried to take the product back, it was too late and I was stuck with a $700 tv that doesn't even work that well. First the DVDs that were put in the player would get stuck and take 6 or 7 tries before it would actually eject. Then came the clicking noises when a DVD was put in, and now the DVD player does not work at all. When turning on the TV it makes a loud popping noise. The TV itself works fine but I wish I had spent a little more money for a better quality product. I definitely DO NOT recommend this product to anyone.

We purchased this model for our children ages 3 & 5. Love the fact that it's got the built in DVD player. We bought the wall mount so they do not mess with the buttons. We have not had any problems as of yet. It's been about 7 months or longer. We are on-line now ready to purchase another for our 3rd sons room. Price is great! We have shopped around and cannot find another for this price and quality.....
Rated 2 out of 5 by JoeyPxiii DO NOT BUY!!! Trust Me.
I will not ramble on about all the problems and limits this T.V. Has but trust me on this one DO NOT BUY IT! Picture is Horrible and the DVD Player is Useless and makes way to much noise. If you want a HIGH Quality TV get the PHILLIPS it is MIND BLOWING in Comparison its so worth the extra few dollars TRUST ME. If you don't want to spend the extra money get thr 32 in. Sanyo which is also far better than the Polaroid and Less expensive in many cases!
Rated 1 out of 5 by rty21 not a very good product
i bought this product two days ago the first night it was working good then when i turned it off. the next day i tired to turn it on it wouldn't work. i would not recondmend this product to anyone.
Rated 2 out of 5 Polaroid 32" LCD w DVD
I originally purchased the 26" Polaroid with DVD player, but returned it immediately as the player would not work at all. I upgraded to the 32", and the DVD player works on some DVDs, but is too delicate to play through many. DVDs that play fine on my standard LG DVD Player/Recorder won't play through on the Polaroid - they start OK, but freeze up after a few minutes.
The picture is OK - it has the standard blur of LCDs in motion scenes. The sound is pretty feeble.
I would not recommend spending this kind of money for a high def TV with a built in DVD player. The built-in feature is very low-end, and not worth the extra $. Just get the plain LCD, and add the free-standing player.
Rated 4 out of 5 by csm215 Excellent televison
I went to the store to look at two televisions I saw online. One of them was out of stock, the other wasn't as great in person. Then I saw this item.
The price held me back, but I really liked the idea of having the DVD player built in.
It only took less than 10 minutes to set up. The directions were really easy to understand.
I have this set in my living room and it looks great. Even though I have only had this set for one day, so far I recommend it highly.
Rated 4 out of 5 by lsr50 Good value
The only gripe I have is that it is impossible to see the channels on the screen. It is so small, I can't read anything in the onscreen box.
Rated 4 out of 5 by clam Good lcd tv
A very good tv that has decent features for the price. Price of the tv was the main consideration for buying. Have had it for about 3 months now, no problems with it so far. Excellent tv for bedroom. You could get a tv with better picture, sound and features. But for the money, in my opinon, it would be hard to beat. Also would recommend the LevelMount Pan/Tilt/Extend LCD TV Wall Mount, if planning to mount on wall.
