Rated 5 out of 5 by Strong Ending A strong ending for an incredible series. As usual, this Potter book was an easy read that kept you enthralled until the very end. Of course you had to have read the first books to get everything out of it. Rowling did a masterful job of tying up all loose ends, including several details you may have not noticed or payed attention to in earlier books. While everyone hates to see the Potter saga end, I believe most will agree that it was wrapped up very satisfyingly!!! I look forward to rereading the series several times! 08/18/2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by O.O The book was a great ending to a great story. I'm almost relieved they're over, how many times can you fight Voldemort and still find it amazing? Could you really walk the Earth for 7 years with a constant sense of impending doom about you without it driving you a little mad? My only complaint was Chapters 14-16... the book kind of sucks out your brain and not-so-gently places it in a state of ennui. Aside from that, the book was wonderful. 08/18/2007

It is full of adventure, romance, and a very nice sum-up of the story line. This book teaches about the life cycles and how death can effect others around. I think it is a great story for children and adults of all ages. Also, that Rowling's has done magic with her pen by writing something that makes you think and use your imagaination at the same time. 08/17/2007

I am just sad that it is the final book! I would recommend this book to anyone at any age...but remember to start with book one in order to really appreciate the Harry Potter experience! 08/16/2007

Ms. Rowling did a magnificent job of tying up MOST of the loose ends in the series...while leaving some of it to our imaginations as well. It leaves you guessing as to the final outcome of things right to the end. I do NOT recommend it for children under the age of about 13..there is some language in it that is inappropriate for young children..and even children at age 13 should read it only at their parent's discretion. 08/16/2007

You'll keep reading, and won't be able to put the book down.I'll guarantee you this book is defenitly not a waste of your money especially for the price Wal-Mart's offering. In the end, you'll be left satisfied! It keeps you wondering how a mind like J.K Rowling exists. She is ultimatly a gifted author. 08/16/2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by Emotional Roller Coaster This last chapter of Harry Potter has Harry looking for hocruxes and he learns more about Tom Riddle a.k.a Lord Voldemort which gives him the leverage to beat his nemesis. Harry keeps going while friends are hurt or killed and learns that the man he hated so much for six school year is in fact his allie to his triumphant victory over Voldemort. Snape's memories are the final clues that give Harry all the knowlegde and power to stop Voldemort. Harry also learns something he never expected, his mother Lily and Snape were friends since the age of seven and all thru school, until Severus called her a mudblood and chose to follow the ways of Voldemort his death eaters. J K Rowling's final works has all your emotions going through the hole book, your crying, cheering, angry, etc. This book of the seven is my favorite and a book I would read over and over. I give this book a five star rating and highly recommend to all. 08/16/2007

If you're a fan of books about wizards and other magical beings, you HAVE to read this book - along with the rest of them. I like the way it gave a look into the future, but left room for your imagination and possibly some short stories. I knew Harry was going to be a Horcrux and had to die so Voldemort could die. I hate the way Severus had to die but he truly redeemed himself in the end. Too bad one of the twins had to die I would have liked to know how the other one did in life after losing his brother. And what happened to the rest of the characters? 08/16/2007

It was a page turner- I couldn't sleep, all I wanted to do was keep reading- I was amazed that the seventh book was as good, if not better, than the first...finished it in less than 24 hours and that is with taking care of two little kids. The last few pages brings full circle and full closure to this magical tale, so that nothing is misunderstood or forgotten...even from the very first book. 08/16/2007
