The Chosen Collection indeed This collection was exactly what I wanted.Having never purchased a Buffy set previously, so this was the perfect completement to my dvd collection.It has an impressive stacked design that is both pleasing to look at and takes up little shelf space.It should be noted though that besides the final disk all of the rest are identical to the prevoius season sets. One should do a little research if they currently own some Buffy and make sure that they are getting their money's worth.Also, the condition that the set came in was a little more worn than I would have preferred; the bottom right corner of the front flap was slightly torn and one of the inner plastic dvd holders was cracked open.In spite of these minor complaints, this set is still the most impressive I have yet seen and I would refer it to any Buffy fan or fan of good tv in general. 07/05/2007
Beyond Expectations I recently purchased the "Buffy The Vampire Slayer: The Chosen Collection" through Wal-mart.com. Though I have been on the internet for quite some time (who hasn't?) this is the very first product I have ever ordered through the internet. Needless to say, I was a bit more than apprehensive. Thankfully, I can say with extreme confidence that those fears proved to be completely unfounded.I decided to order the box set because I have been a fan of "Buffy" for quite some time, and I didn't pick up the individual seasons because, being a DVD-afficinado, I thought that they may release a box set of the whole series and was proven right. Furthermore, this limited edition box set has proven to be more limited than I originally thought, and I have not seen it in a store in quite some time.Actually placing my order for the set was very easy, and the site offered step by step instructions, and also allowed you to preview your choice and selections before you submitted it.Two of the options I chose were the Site-to-store option, and the Bill-Me-Later option. The Site-to-store option allowed me to ship the box set to the actualy, physical Wal-mart store that I frequent. Sure, it meant I had to then pick it up, but it saved me the hassle of making sure someone was home to sign for the package, or any damage that may come from having to leave the package out in bad weather in case no one was home. Plus, by using Site-to-store, it waived the shipping and handling fee.I chose the Bill-Me-Later option because it allowed me to pay the bill electronically, which I did, and it too was easy and fast and I had no trouble with it whatsoever.Probably the aspect that was most impressed with is the speed in which my request was met. I was given a 2-week plus time frame in which my order would come in, and it actually came in less than half of that time. Before I even knew it, my order was ready and waiting at the store. Picking it up was also a breeze.Overall, I was very impressed with the whole process and cannot believe that it took me so long to actually order something on-line. I was so impressed that it only took me a few more days before I ordered yet another box set through Wal-mart.com only to have my high expectations shattered yet again. Buffy Rockz Big time !!! I was so sad when this ended. I started watching Buffy when I was in high school back in the Philippines. I was the only one in my class ( the whole school I think ) who watched this since during that time everyone else were hooked on Mexican telenovelas and tagalog soap operas. I would stay up late because it aired a bit late just so I won't miss an episode. I got the separate dvd seasons when this box set came out. I sold my collection so I can get this one and I am happy to say I'm glad I did. This is one of my prized collection along with my Charmed dvd's, Steven Speilberg's Taken dvd set, Twin Peaks Gold Edition, etc....To Buffy fans out there, this is a must-own collection.
