The Candle Impressions Flameless Candles with Timer can be used both indoors and outdoors with equal ease. It is an imitation candle that doesnt use a flame so it can be used everywhere without a fire hazard. Also the Inglow Flameless candles do not melt and come with a 1000-hour rated battery run time. Measuring 5-inches in height, these Indoor Outdoor flameless candles provide a subtle light that greatly augments the décor wherever they are used. It contains a timer that can be set to turn the candle on or off automatically. If left unattended for a long time, the auto-shutoff feature switches the candle out after 5 hours. Candle light dinners are no longer a hassle inside the apartments equipped with smoke/fire alarm thanks to the flameless candles. Although made of durable plastic, the material closely resembles wax. Since the plastic doesnt melt under sunlight, the imitation candle lends itself to be used outdoors even in hot weathers.

Candle Impressions, Inglow Outdoor Flameless Candle with Timer, White 34 38
Great for outdoors I've purchased wax flameless candles but they are not suitable for outdoor use. Although these don't have as nice a finish as the wax candles I prefer these for outdoor use in my glass lanterns. They don't overheat and melt in the sun. I've found them to be very reliable (purchased candles with timers) and they look very nice out on my patio and in the garden. I love that they come on every evening. 04/11/2010
Flameless Beauty I got 3 of these. We couldn't get one to work until we noticed a little tiny peice of plastic was on one of the battery connections, once that was removed it works flawlessly. The timer works as it should too. They are white, not cream colored. The candles do NOT put out much light at all but DOES provide a lovely ambience that everyone loves and makes comments about. I've looked around the web and all others are too expensive for me to even try. We love them. 04/18/2011
Safe alternative to true candle Although resin, candle looks very much like a real wax candle. Its imbedded led flickers beneath a false wick and its glow is soft. It can be used in areas where open flame would be dangerous and hopefully, because it has a timer should be able to be set once and left alone in areas that are not easy to access, once I choose to have it come on every evening during the holiday season. I have not yet utilized the timer feature. I will be doing that after thanksgiving. It is also not the dust magnet that a wax candle can be. 11/08/2010
love these candles Once I finally got the right product I LOVE themmake sure if your candles you get don't have an on off & timer mode send them back (if you want the timer) and call them That is what I had to do and they got them to me very quickly. I had seen other review where the ladies didn't like how they did not come back on each additional night and with TIMER mode they do unless they sent you the wrong candles. Have had many complements on the candles used them for center pieces for a graduation partyyou will love them too 06/02/2010
