GREAT VALUE Very nice piece! A little confusing putting together, but luckily my husband is a genius. It's very dark just as described and very expensive looking. Perfect value! Love them! I just ordered these a little over a week ago. I was a little leery about ordering them without being able to see them in person, but they match perfectly! I had priced some at other stores that were $100+. These look just as great if not better. I'm so happy I went with these. My 16 y/o son put both together in less than two hours! I put them on the both sides of my tv stand that came from a higher priced store and they match perfectly. 03/08/2011
Great! Just put this together last night. It took less than 1/2 hour. Had all parts and pieces. It is so nice looking. It looks more expensive than it is. I have recently been furniture shopping and have seen similar items in furniture stores. They are all double or triple what this cost me. What a bargain! I actually just bought it to hold decorative items so I cannot comment on how well it holds heavy items. The color is a nice dark brown and matches my other furniture perfectly. I think I will put a little felt or rubber backing on the part that actually leans against the wall though. I would definitely recommend this item to friends and family and would purchase it again if I had the need for another. 07/09/2011
great item! It is true that it is smaller than expected based on other leaning bookcases I've seen (so check the measurements!), but it fit my needs exactly.The vertical pieces are joined in the middle and the seam is pretty obvious, so that's one drawback.The plugs to cover up the screw heads were a little annoying to put in. I had to hammer them in pretty hard before they would stay, which resulted in some of the varnish color chipping off. 03/02/2011
