The Children of Henry the 8th is a great read for anyone who is already facinated with the time period and the people and is also great for someone who is unfamiliar but interested in learning about it. Alison Weir tells a story based on real facts without making it boring.I have read many Tudor period books and I really enjoyed her style and learned some things I didn't know. I also enjoyed her book the six wives of Henry the 8th, you may want to start with that one first and proceed to The Children of Henry the 8th :)
