Baby Einstein: Meet The Orchestra - First Instrument 2 2
Good buy, if you aren't a musician This is a good introduction to the different sounds of classical instruments.....However, if you are a musician, watching this video will annoy you to tears. It is painfully obvious that the actors are not actually playing the instruments in many of the scenes, and there are portions of the video where synthesizers are used to imitate the instruments. I don't really understand why the instruments' sounds are authentic in some scenes, and reproduced by synthesizers in other scenes....I mean, if the musicians were hired, why not have them play the whole thing?However, I gave it three stars because my son loves the video and claps along with the music....he just doesn't get to watch it very often because it drives me crazy. 11/16/2007
I just love to tell other young parents how greAt of an investment baby einstein video's are. i brought this video to sooth my daughter (music wise) when she was about 4months old, now that she is two, she can barely talk but she know EVERY instrument in the "orchestra" i guess from watching it so much? dont care, just happy she's learned something!! 04/18/2009
