makes cloth diapering a breeze!

These things rock! They make cloth diapering just as easy as disposable. They are very durable. In fact they are so durable that i've accidently left them in the diaper and they are still intact after a wash. They are suppose to biodegrade in the toilet, but I don't trust them not to plug up the pipes so I flush the poopy ones and toss the wet ones in the trash. I use 4 different cloth diaper bands and the liners work well in all of them. Here are pictures of the cloth diaper with a liner in.

flush waste for a better environment!

NOTE: These liners are not supposed to be absorbent. They are only meant to catch the #2 and let the #1 pass through to the diaper. We use for a few reasons: to reduce #2 stains on our cloth diapers and to abide by the law in disposing of human waste properly (ie: not in a landfill. Read the fine print on your diaper pkgs). That's what sewage treatment plants are for! The liners could be used in a disposable too! Then your diaper pail wont get so stinky as quickly! They are long perforated sheets, so we currently cut in half and place only in the #2 zone of our cloth (we use fitteds as well as prefolds made into a fan/#2 pocket). This is perfect for our exclusively brstfed infant and a great option if you are cloth diapering during the meconium and transitional stages. These will still be useful once baby starts solids!

Good, I suppose but defeats the purpose of CD

I like these for when baby has a diaper rash (which is almost NEVER because he only wears cloth diapers) because you can't use creams with cloth diapers. They will build-up and make the material non-absorbent. These do work well for keeping most of the solids from the bm off the diaper and even work for new breastfed babies' bm. However, for me at least, they defeat the purpose of cloth diapering. You have to buy paper and throw it out - if you're looking for a good liner try the fabric ones. My husband uses these disposable ones a lot and I admit it's a good thing to have for, say, going out or for overnight to make clean-up easier and eliminate rinsing. As I said they're also good for the times you really want to use diaper cream or balm on a sore bum. Not a bad buy, the best price around is on Walmart.com by FAR.

I was worried about how soft these would be because of some reviews I read, but they are great. These are the only liner I have tried tho. I use Happy Heiny's one size and no, they are not as soft as the fleece, but they are still ok. Strong too.

I previously used Imse Vimse flushable liners. I will probably go back to those after I am done with these Kushies. Kushies are okay. They are a little narrow for my 10 month old/20 lbs boy, but they work well. Unfortunately, these are truly a one use liner. The Imse Vimse can be washed and sanitized with the cloth diapers. I only flush them after they have caught solid waste. They have held up through many, many laundry cycles. We still have a handful of them from the 200 we got when our baby was newborn. The Kushies seemed like a bargain, since WalMart would ship to the store for free, saving us around $5 per two packages. However, our total cost will end up being much more than the Imse Vimse, given that they are single use. Summary: These are perfectly adequate, convenient and functional. They are not the most economical.

These liners are only alright. I probably wouldn't buy them again. They are not wide enough to keep the "nastiness" contained within it. So lots of mess still gets on the sides of the cloth diaper. If you don't remove every one from your diaper and discard they will fall apart and make a mess in the wash (the pulp from the paper clogs the velcro tabs of our diapers and i have to pick it out of the velcro after each wash). The one COOL thing about these that i LOVE though, is that they are on a roll, like toilet paper. That is sooooo convenient. It's easy to to grab and go. Other liners i've used in the past were much more durable and peepee ones could be left in the diaper and washed and reused (YAY!!). But they were awkward to get off the larger squashed roll. I would not recomend kushies liners. They are just not good enough to keep the mess contained. Plus they are thick, but not too soft. Find another brand. Hope this helps.

I wish I had these 10 years ago with my first baby. Then we had to put the cloth diaper in the toilet, swish and shake and flush. Now I just toss the liner with the mess in it into the toilet. For the first time my Husband actually changes cloth diapers now. I really like the fact that these liners are on a roll, nice feature, easy to use. One review said that they are really rough, I don't think so. There is one side that is softer, so I put that side next to my baby's bottom. I don't think there is anything that I don't like about this product. Can't live without!!

Helpfull but....

These liners work really great. They do make clean up much easier. However, if you consider the price you might as well go with disposables. Yes, they have less impact on the environment then disposables (they flush easily) but the price makes them not very economical. Also, after using them, my baby started to get diaper rush again (which went away once we used only cloth diapers). I think it is better to invest in a diaper sprayer which makes clean up just as easy and it's green and economical.

Kushies flushable liners save so much time and mess when changing my son's cloth diapers. I would be cleaning up much longer without them. Now I just have to flush and go.

I use these in my cloth diapers and they make clean-up so much easier because all the really messy stuff gets thrown away with the liner.
