    The Most Important Seuss Creation The Lorax is the most impressive and meaningful of all the Seuss works. It teaches so many universal lessons about regret, greed, consequences, redemption and hope. It teaches children to respect the earth and that each person is responsible for the environment. I read this to my children every chance I get. They sit completely engrossed every single time. The other Seuss works are wonderful. The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, Horton, etc. are wonderful stories of imagination and friendship. Lorax however takes a more poignant stance that the others don't in my opinion and this remains my favorite Geisel creation ever. 01/14/2012
