Exodus 5 5 2 2
Great resource The establishment of Israel as a state is fascinating, especially when presented in the context of WWII. If you're interested in the subject, there are two books to read: this and 'Rebirth' by David Longueay. 12/02/2011
Exodus by Leon Uris Awesome book, edge of the seat entertainment with a lot of historical background of the Israeli struggle to create a homeland. From the depths of the internment camps of WWII to the end of the war to protect their struggling new country from the invaders, this book will give a in depth look at the politics, engagements and work to create this new homeland for the Jews. This book is still relevant about much of what is happening in the middle east today. At the time of its publication in 1959 it was the largest selling book since "Gone With the Wind" was written in 1939 which says much about its impact on readers around the world. 04/15/2010
