The following content was provided by the publisher.
In this first-of-its-kind book, Dr. Susan Ludington-Hoe gives parents the tools they need to act on what all recent studies and articles on the subject of infant stimulation make clear: the content and quality of an infant's learning prenatally and shortly after birth can influence its life direction.

How to Have a Smarter Baby: The Infant Stimulation Program for Enhancing Your Baby's Natural Development 4.3 5 3 3
Book focuses on the first 6 months. I feel I bought the book to late for it to be helpful. 07/29/2009
Definitely Worth Reading I'd say that out of most of the texts that I have read while being pregnant, this one has to be my favorite. Everyone wants to have a smart baby. This book is a guide to doing something about that. Get this book even if you are considering getting pregnant because it has important information for you on what you can do even before conception. Even though it was published in the mid '80's, there is still an abundance of relative research. Infant Stimulation is something I am definitely looking forward to once I deliver. It makes great sense and I can see how it will definitely help my child's attention span and sensory intelligence. 06/05/2008
Smarter Baby From pregnancy to delivery to the nursery & toys, this book enlightens you to ways to stimulate the development and relationship between you and your child. Chapters include information like: Pregnancy diet for baby’s brain growth, nursery design to stimulate mental & physical development, toys to accelerate muscular & eve coordination, talk to encourage language development and so much more. I not only recommend this book, but I bought it for my daughter and her new baby. 12/15/2007
