Rated 5 out of 5 by Smithbrother It works fairly well. I was surprised that one needs an iron when using the kit. I have not owned an iron for many years now, but I was able to substitute a hotplate. I only used the black color so I do not know how well other colors would match. Grateful to have this product available to repair my vinyl seat. 11/02/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by drglenk Good Leather patch kit This product by 3M did a very good job of fixing small cuts and tears on two of my leather couches. I was able to mix the colors to get an exact match to my Teal leather without much effort. Next, the mesh with heat applier didn't really work that well. I followed all the instructions. However when I just let the color 'paint' just dry over night, it worked fine without the heat and fabric patch. Good enough job for a $10 kit! 12/20/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by IMHOpinion Works well I used this repair kit to repair a black office chair. At first it looked bad. Then, I added an extra coat of paint. The heat helps to blend the new paint into the surrounding material, but be careful not to overheat. It can get a little scorched.From several feet away, the repair looks great, but you can still see it from close up.It is not perfect, but it is very good. 01/10/2013
