    Nice rack

I purchased this rack because it is a close match to my Bello TV stand (Bello does not make a matching component rack). Walmart's price was the best I could locate. It was packaged very well and was easy to assemble . I think it is really good looking. I have a turn table on the top shelf and the rack is both solid and heavy enough that room vibrations are not an issue. Site to store shipping was great with no problems.

This product was easy to assemble and it is a real beauty. Accommodates all of my components. Used the back posts to organize cords by wrapping around the posts. Good investment and it is very stable.

This is a very sleek looking product with optional chrome or black accents. The only difficulty was that a few of the screw-in legs were not as precise in their manufacture which made it a little tricky to line up, but with a little redirection while turning, we managed to get them in straight. It is very study when assembled, too.

    • There is not a cable management system.

    • No cable management. I use project board, like for our kids science fair), cut to fit to hide cables. Yes, it is a pain to do!

    • No cable management, but you could buy a kit from Monster to pull the cables neatly together.

    • There is no cable management but because of the black shelves and the posts on each corner I routed and tied my cables. I don't even notice them with the components filling the shelves. Spend a little extra time when setting up and you will be pleased I am sure.

    • There is no way to hide the cables, because the rack is open at the back.

    • There is nothing for cable management. You just have four 1-1/2 inch metal posts in each corner. The posts are hollow and have a bar welded inside the ends of the posts. They run between the two sides of the post. The bars are have threaded holes for the 3/8 inch studs to screw in to and then tie the 2 posts together. As far as wiring, I was thinking of using some of the large black plastic flexible conduit that is split and then run it down behind one of the posts with black cable ties to hold it in place. Cable runs are always a chore.

    • No, but you can do it with "ties" either the plastic locking type or even a "twisty tie". The cables can run down the back side, along either side.

    • There is no cable management included with the unit. Since it is black with silver accents it would be relatively easy to route the wires down one side and use some Velcro or something to hold them in place.

    • There is no cable management included, I bought one seperately. The cords do not hide as the back is completely open. Up against the right wall, as mine is now, they are less obvious but still visible.

    • no. The top shelf has no holes in it to link to the shelf underneath (The tubes are tied into place with open ended center bolts that go through a hole in the glass to the next shelf.)

    • no. i bought 2 packs thinking the same way, but aborted the plan. a. top glass shelf can't be in the middle - no through-holes on it b. 3" poles can be used only as foot. c. screw holes on other poles do not give me the confidence to be sturdy enough for my components as one 70" unit d. it will be too heavy to move around ot for my hardwood floor if put all poles and shelves as one unit.

    • Not sure how stable this would be.
      by Audio126/10/2011
Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)
    • Sure. Just mount the second stand on top of the first. The spacing between the top of the first and the bottom of the second would be small but other than that....sure.
      by Skyrat15/11/2011
Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)
    • Absolutely not. It would then be too tall and therefore top heavy and unstable. There would also be too much weight on the lower shelves and sheets of glass. This is designed as a single unit and I would say don't try to double up.
      by TheScotsman17/26/2014
Was this answer helpful? (1) (0)
    • You could combine two units but I think you would only have 9 shelves because the top shelf does not have holes all the way through the glass for multi possition insallation like the rest of the shelves, so you would have one extra top shelf not in use. Also the unit is heavy so I'm not sure if it would be very stable at around 70", it might be top heavy at that height.
      by greenisgreat12/24/2010
Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)
    • Yes you can. You just don't install the top shelf on the lower unit and keep threading the posts on to get what you want. You will be left with 1 extra top shelf as it has chrome bezels built into the glass where the posts attach.
      by turbobuick2/5/2012
Was this answer helpful? (2) (0)
    • I can't say for sure but based on the way it assembles I think you could combine two however you will only be able to have one top so you won't get all of the shelves. The top shelf does not have holes going through like the others do. The bottom however would be able to screw in to another unit so take away the top shelf and you should be all set.

    • Yes, you can separate the stand into 2 stands to lower the height.

    • there are poles at 9", 8", 6" and 5". you can skip any of them to reduce the overall height. 3" poles are foot which you can't skip.

    • Height can only be shorter than 35 inches by leaving legs or a shelf off.
      by Audio126/10/2011
Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)
    • No. The shelves are not adjustable on this unit. There are a couple of different length posts but that is about it.
      by Skyrat15/11/2011
Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)
    • Yes, because one of the shelves is 9 inches. If you leave that one out, you would then have a shorter rack. Keep in mind the height is only 33.5 inches and not 35 as advertised.
      by TheScotsman11/9/2011
Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)
    • Yes. but only by eliminating some shelves. The way the unit is constructed is there are 4 black metal tubes that seperate the shelves, these tubes come in 4 different lengths: 5", 6.50", 8" and 9", the bottom legs are 3" and can only be used on the bottom, for a total of 20 tubes. The shelves, except for the top shelf, have 4 holes in them, 1 in each corner, for a threaded stud to go through and screw two tubes together, one on top and one on bottom. so you can leave out a shelf or two and some of the tubes to make what you need as far as height goes. I hope this makes sense and is helpful

Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)
    • Yes, all the shelves are independent. Just leave one of the shelves out.
      by cldocx12/15/2010
Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)
    • The shelves are oriented by the customer at 9, 8, 7 and 5 inches. You can put them in any order or leave some out if you wish. You may be able to thread 2 posts together without the glass and make an extra high space.
      by turbobuick12/10/2010
Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)
    • The shelves can NOT be adjusted to the degree you are asking. The only thing you can do is move the one shelf that is higher then the rest to whatever position you want. You could however reduce the total number of shelves which would reduce the overall height of the unit.
