Dry the air out! Dehumidifier has been set to run continously in basement location since setting up 3 weeks ago. Has done a good job removing mosture, water is continously drained to outside via attached hose. Cannot hear unit running in living areas of basement. Very satisfied so far. 08/16/2009
Very Satisfied We purchased this product for the basement. We loved the feature of being able to hook up a hose for draining, so that we did not have to run up and down the steps checking the water level and emptying the basket. We struggled to get the hose hooked up tight enough for the first week, so the water drained in the bucket. We kept making adjustments, finally tightening the connection enough that the water drained through the hose. Then it drained exactly how I expected. It keeps the basement much drier; it runs quietly and the wheels are nice for moving it. I wish the cord was a little bit longer, since finding an outlet in the basement is not always easy. But, the product itself works great, the price is affordable, and it helps reduce the moisture in the basement considerably! I would certainly recommend this product!! 08/11/2009
Excellent dehumidifier This dehumidifier works great. I read the reviews before buying, and I agree the fan is quite loud on high fan speed, but it gets the job done. I have been using the dehumidifier for a couple days now, the highest humidity percentage that this unit logs is 65, now it is reading 45. Considering the humidity is 90 outside, I think that's pretty good.The drawer is easily removed and has a nice carrying handle. The unit is on wheels which I am very happy about. It did not come with a remote, but you are able to set it for a 2 or 4 hour delay. I am pleased with this purchase. 08/10/2009
excellent quiet dehumidifier I've had my dehumidifier for 3 weeks. I was concerned that 30 pints might be too small for my basement at first but it has worked wonders. I empty the bucket about 2x per day. The LCD display is great because it shows how much humidity is in the room and you can set it to the humidity level you'd like. Bucket is easy to remove and spill-proof. I'm amazed at how quiet the unit is as well. My basement no longer has that musty smell and my allergies have decreased. Great value for a great dehumidifier. 08/10/2009
