Disappointed Very disappointed with this chest. I planned on using it for a nightstand. Drawers were made of cheap press wood..they broke when trying to put them together. Returned item to store 08/05/2009
Do Not Buy This Dresser What a piece of junk. This doesn't look anything at all like the nice photo on the website. I cannot even believe it is the same item.First of all, the 'oak' finish doesn't remotely resemble oak. It is a dark, fake brown that looks like cheap contact paper. The drawers won't slide into the runners without jamming and sticking. The drawer pulls are an awful brown plastic and you can't even attach them because the bolts that come with them are too large. The pieces are made of bulky, cheap particle board. It just screams "cheap junk" when you look at it.Just a complete and total waste of time and effort in trying to assemble this. Now I get to pack it up and drive it back to the store (45 minutes from my rural home) to try to return it.Do Not Waste Your Time and Money. 08/21/2009
ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I bought this dresser for my 3 year old son. He didn't need anything huge nor did he have the space in his room for something big so this dresser was perfect. It was pretty easy to assemble. I did it by myself in less than an hour. The drawers slide in and out easily enough that my son gets his own clothes out in the morning which really makes him feel like a "big boy". I thought it was reasonably priced and liked it so much that I bought a second one for my 19 month old daughter. When that one arrived one of the pieces was broken during shipping. I called a number that was provided on the instruction manual and the man I spoke with was extremely nice, shipped me a new part that day and within a few days the dresser was good as new. They seem sturdy enough to stand up to daily toddler activities. I am very pleased with my purchases! 07/26/2010
For the price, it is about the quality we expected, and it will serve its purpose just fine. The color however looks nothing like the picture. The picture online was a nice looking light oak color, but it came in a puky brown color. I'm glad we planned to keep it in a closet anyway. 05/26/2011
